Curator’s statement
Kruger National Park is one of the most incredible destinations on the planet, home to the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and African buffalo). Singita is one of the only luxury resorts allowed in the reserve for their steadfast commitment to conservation and minimal environmental footprint. Their resort includes an all-inclusive service that also features game drives and activities. It is a truly unique way of doing an “all-inclusive” vacation on safari.

Things to do in South Africa
Singita takes care of everything, setting the rhythm for your stay according to nature. Morning wake-up calls are announced with tea and cookies, followed by a quick breakfast pre-game drive. Each drive is a unique experience. Post-drive, enjoy a nap after being tired out by the African sun. The hotel then serves delicious lunch followed by a spa session and massages.
The Singita properties feature incredible pools and swimming in which you can neighbor with curious baboons. The property also extends an invitation to afternoon game drives. With outdoor showers and all necessities kept to a minimum, this is the destination of nature’s own luxury.

The Singita Community Culinary School is a unique program that serves to fulfill a real need in the community and the South African hospitality industry as a whole. Graduates of this school emerge with highly sought-after skills and strong employment prospects, while kitchens at Singita lodges and those further afield benefit from a pool of expertly-trained young chefs. The School is a significant step toward achieving Singita’s long-term, broad community development goal, which is to assist the people that live in and around the reserves to thrive, both economically and socially.
