Things to do in Scottsdale

  • McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park - The kids can ride on a vintage train and carousel. The park also has two playgrounds and a train museum.

  • OdySea Aquarium - Why not take the kids to see sea animals while in the desert!?

  • Four Peaks Mining Co. - Kids can explore with miners' hats and have fun learning about rocks.

  • Horseback Riding - If your kids enjoy horses, you are in the right spot. Scottsdale is home to many ranches where you can get on a horse. Check out Wild West Horses, Cave Creek Outfitters, and MacDonald's Ranch to name a few.

  • Papago Park - This park has a zoo and botanical garden for kids of all ages to explore!

  • Hot Air Balloons - There are so many companies that do this in the area. Rainbow Ryders company is a good place to start.

  • Butterfly Wonderland - This indoor conservatory, with many butterflies. They also have an area for kids with autism and developmental disabilities.
