Things to do in Orlando

  • Theme Parks: From Walt Disney World to Universal Studios to Sea World to Gatorland, Orlando is home to some of the best theme parks in the world. Fun, thrills and entertainment await you at every park. Whether you want to ride some of the biggest and fastest rollercoasters, meet some famous characters form your favorite films and shows, or wine and dine at some of the most unique places, Orlando's theme parks have it all.

  • Museums: Near the beautiful Downtown Orlando lies some of the best museums you can see. For the artists, there is the Orlando Museum of Art. For the botanists, we have the Leu House Museum, which sits inside the famous Leu Gardens. Of course, my personal favorite, the Orlando Science Center for all us astronauts and fossil diggers.

  • Entertainment: If you are itching to see a toe-tapping musical performance, or listen to a grand orchestra, the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center is the perfect place to go. If you are more interested in a movie, stop by the Enzian Theater to experience how cinema was truly meant to be seen. For sports fans, nothing compares to the thrill of watching our Orlando City Soccer Team at the massive Camping World Stadium. You can also spend a night out in town and visit the wonderful ICON Park, where you can visit Madam Tussand's Wax Museum, see the beauty of the ocean at the Sea Life Aquarium or ride the 400-foot-tall, "iconic" Orlando Eye.

A note from Jorey

You cannot visit Orlando without checking out at least one of our beautiful Florida beaches. Motorsports fans can visit the Daytona International Speedway, and then drive their vehicles directly onto the beaches of Daytona. Visit Cocoa Beach to surf the waves, go deep sea fishing or even visit Kennedy Space Center. However, if you want pristine clear waters, beautiful white sand and many luxurious restaurants and lounges then nothing can beat Clearwater Beach.

Fine dining

  • Victoria & Albert's: A Michelin Star experience where you can enjoy gourmet dishes and impeccable service in the heart of the Walt Disney World resort.

  • Christner's Prime Steak & Lobster: A personal favorite of mine where you can enjoy the best steak and seafood, typically accompanied with live music and entertainment.

Local favorites

  • Papa Llama: A Peruvian restaurant were contemporary and culture are blended perfectly for a dining experience you won't soon forget.

  • Se7en Bites: This spot was featured on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Line up for some of the best southern comfort foods you'll ever eat and the menu always changes.

  • Domu: A trendy favorite for social media, where you can enjoy creative ramen and cocktails.
