Need to know
Queenstown is a wonderful place that perfectly blends adventure, relaxation and stunning natural beauty. Weather can change quickly, so dress in layers and always bring a warm jacket, even in summer. Many activities — like scenic flights, wine tours and fine dining — book out fast, advance booking is recommended. Rent a car if you're planning day trips, but driving can be winding and narrow — take your time and enjoy the views. Most importantly, slow down, soak it in and let Queenstown work its magic.
