Day 1: Arrive in at SFO

Cars on road

Arrive in at SFO. Take time to explore the green spaces like Presido Park, the iconic painted lady houses and intersecting boroughs like Hayes street and Ghirardelli Square. If arriving earlier in the day you have to get a croissant from Arsicault.

Day 2: Sausalito Day Trip - A Quaint Artistic Haven

House on top with greenery view

Spend the day across the bay in Sausalito. This town is quaint but has an artistic tourist haven vibe. The best way to get to and from as a tourist is by ferry. After walking downtown grab a casual lunch at Bar Bocce. If you are looking for something more formal, Cavallo Point has great quality and something for everyone.

Day 3: Wine Country Getaway - A Whimsical Adventure

wine with a view

Off to wine country. Grab your girlfriends or significant other for a fun whimsical adventure. It’s so close you cannot skip it. After a drive out of the city, you reach a picturesque town of rolling vineyards. Stop for a bite to eat at Charter Oak; they have a cheeseburger that I cannot stop thinking about. Stroll down St Helena and visit the shops, finding something fun to bring home. After your time in town, enjoy your wine tasting at one of the finest vineyards in the country. One of my personal favorites is Joseph Phelps; enjoy a quiet afternoon on the patio overlooking the beauty and learn everything you can about the winemaking in the region and why it’s so special.
