A pretzel with a side of mustard and plastic cup of beer served on a wooden table.

Drake - Downtown Bend

This trendy corner diner-style eatery stands out as a popular choice, known for its innovative twists on classic dishes and delightful cocktails. I suggest considering it for a satisfying dinner experience paired with refreshing drinks or simply for enjoying a couple of expertly crafted cocktails.

Crux Fermentation Project

I love revisiting this brewery repeatedly; it's one of my favorites. Boasting a spacious lawn, numerous picnic tables and an enticing pub food menu indoors, complemented by a selection of food trucks on the lawn, you're guaranteed to discover the perfect meal to accompany your beer of choice. Make sure to try the Bochi Bochi, a Japanese rice lager. Crux is also dog-friendly, offering water bowls and ample seating space for you and your furry friend to enjoy the outdoors together.

Bangers and Brews

Bangers and Brews is another personal favorite of mine, providing an excellent variety of beers paired with gourmet sausages and an Argentinean flair that you can tailor to your liking. I suggest considering this spot for a convenient dinner choice or a delightful lunch experience.

Chow

The perfect brunch place, Chow has some amazing dishes, like huevos rancheros or corned beef hash. They also make these three yummy hot sauces that amplify the dish even further. Chow has a great dog-friendly patio, too. Are you sensing a theme yet? Bend is very dog-friendly.

GoodLife Brewing Company

Another fantastic brewery in Bend, GoodLife offers a spacious indoor area for socializing with friends. Additionally, there's a biergarten set on a grassy lawn, complete with excellent music and a selection of food trucks. The brewery is also dog-friendly and provides outdoor lawn games for added enjoyment.

Bend Burger Company

Just a good ol’ classic burger place featuring 100% Northwest natural beef and the freshest ingredients. Think fast food but way better! So, if you're feeling like going to the local McDonald's for a quick meal before your adventure, just go to the Bend Burger Company instead.

Rapa Nui Tiki Bar

This is a good choice for a fun night out! Featuring everything you want from a tiki bar – great food and beautiful, colorful and delicious tiki cocktails. Order the Painkiller. Such a fun vibe inside. Honestly a must-visit when in Bend for a few days.

Five Fusion Modern Japanese Bar & Restaurant

Calling all Japanese food lovers! This sleek, modern Japanese restaurant has a great selection of sake and some fantastic, fresh and beautifully plated dishes. Located right in downtown, this makes for a perfect dinner spot before a night out.

Backporch Coffee Roasters

With three convenient locations in Bend, make sure to make this your preferred coffee spot during your visit. My personal favorite is their refreshing cold brew, but the oat milk lattes are also undeniably delightful. For something a bit different, consider indulging in the honey lavender latte.
