Day 1: Arriving in Tanzania

A pool view outside of the resort, with umbrellas and an overcast sky.

Upon arrival, you will take a quick 45-minute drive to the Siringit Collections Villa, located in Arusha. This six-bedroom villa currently boasts a swimming pool and full-service spa. Within the next year, the property will include a separate restaurant and gym. The villa is the perfect place to begin your stay. You can relax for a day or two before setting out on your safari adventure.

The Villa is host to Michelin star-trained chefs and offers impeccable dining options. One thing for sure is you will never be hungry during your stay!

After relaxing by the pool or enjoying a massage, it’s time to fight the jetlag off with a round of golf. The villa sits on the Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate, allowing guests to partake in golf during their stay. Club rentals are available to make for easy travel.

Once the sun begins to set, it’s time for a sunset sundowner, their version of happy hour. Enjoy cocktails and snacks overlooking the course and Mt Kilimanjaro. If you’re lucky, you may spot some wild life!

Day 2: Activities in Arusha

There are so many activities in and around the town of Arusha. You can begin the day by visiting the local Baraa primary school. The Siringit Foundation supports the school and provides children with daily essentials like a warm meal and school supplies. After touring the school and learning about the foundation, it’s time to shop for a cause!

Sanaa is a local artisanal workshop that provides jobs to people with disabilities. The artisans create textiles, blown glass, jewelry and more! It’s the perfect place to purchase a souvenir to remember your stay. You can also stop by the local Arusha Market and purchase locally made goods, including artwork and clothing.

Day 3: Safari

It’s time to head out on safari! A quick 20-minute flight from the villa lies The Siringit Collections Serengeti Camp. If you choose to fly private with the incredible staff at Safari Plus Aviation, you can enjoy a scenic flight that includes views of Mt Kilimanjaro along with a local crater and volcano from above! Your local guide will pick you up and then the safari begins! On your way to the camp, you will come across several animals, making for an exciting start to your stay. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed to song and dance by the staff, which includes two Maasai tribe members.

The Serengeti Camp is a luxurious property offering proper plumbing and five-star meals. You’ll spend your nights in a comfortable king-size bed with a stove to keep you warm at night. If you’re lucky, you may spot some wildlife outside your tent! The Camp offers 10 tents, including two family tents, an outdoor gym and will soon include plunge pools for each tent.

Once you’re settled into your new accommodations, you can enjoy lunch overlooking the Serengeti and then head out on your afternoon game drive. Siringits guides are some of the best and ensure you see the wildlife you traveled all this way to see! When the sun begins to set, you can enjoy a proper sundowner with a beautiful African sunset before heading back to camp.

Every night you’ll gather around the bonfire (bush TV) and enjoy cocktails while you discuss your sightings with other guests. Be sure to get some rest because the early-morning game drive will be there before you know it.

Day 4: Exploration

An outdoor lunch set up with table, white table cloth and wooden chairs in the shade of a large tree.

Time to head out on another game drive! Enjoy a hot breakfast from the safari truck so you can get a head start on animal sightings. The camp provides binoculars so you can have a front seat view for any encounter.

After exploring for a few hours you can enjoy a beautifully put together lunch in the middle of the bush! The chef and staff will join you to provide a delectable meal among the animals.

Upon returning to camp you have the option to partake in the Maasai experience. You can learn from the local tribe members how to shoot a bow and arrow and throw a spear to become a warrior yourself!

Day 5: Hot Air Balloon Safari

A view of a wooden deck with chairs surrounded by grasses at a camp in Tanzania during the day.

You can enjoy an early-morning hot air balloon safari prior to departing camp. Miracle Experiences offers a safari from the sky. This is truly the best way to see the animals since you can navigate across land that can’t be accessed by car. This is an experience that can’t be missed. After enjoying a post-balloon ride breakfast, it’s time to set out to Siringits final property, The Migration Camp.

This camp travels throughout the year with the migration. The luxury accommodations include proper plumbing, a comfortable bed and stove for those chilly nights. The flight is approximately 45 minutes from their Serengeti Camp.

As with the first camp, you will enjoy a game drive on the way to camp. If you’re lucky, you may catch the great migration and the infamous river crossing.

In the evening, expect entertainment from the staff that includes joyful song and dance.

Day 6: The Big Five

Today marks your final day on safari. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the big five: rhino, leopard, elephant, water buffalo and lions!

After a long day of exploring, it’s time to enjoy the ultimate sundowners experience along the Mara River. The staff will prepare a proper bar and seating so you can relax with a cocktail in hand while the sun begins to set. Be sure to try the local cocktail, a dawa, which consists of vodka, honey, ginger and lime juice.

On your final night, enjoy a three-course meal followed by some time around the bush TV.

Day 7: Relax

You have the option to return to the villa and enjoy one of their day rooms prior to your late-night departure. You can relax by the pool and decompress after an adventure-packed vacation.
