Tokyo Disneyland Adventure with Top 10 Must-Experience Attractions

Let me share with you our top 10 experiences:

1. The Happy Ride with Baymax

Based on the popular film Big Hero 6, this delightful attraction features upbeat music and vibrant visuals. You will find people just standing around the ride to dance and sing along.

2. The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast

This attraction tells the story of Belle and the Beast through stunning visuals and lifelike animatronics. Each scene is meticulously crafted to showcase beautiful storytelling, making it a must-visit at this park. The transformation scene was phenomenal.

3. Pooh’s Hunny Hunt

This innovative ride uses a unique trackless system, allowing for a different experience every time you ride. This version includes more Pooh characters than the Disneyland California version. This is hands down my favorite version of this ride in all the parks.

4. Ride the Disney Resort Line

This monorail journey offers panoramic views of the park and is adorned with charming Disney details. It conveniently connects to Tokyo DisneySea, the train station and several hotels.

5. Country Bear Jamboree

This nostalgic show features animatronic bears performing catchy songs. We found ourselves laughing and tapping our feet along with the tunes. My husband, who does not remember it from when it was in Disneyland in California, wanted to see this show twice during our two days at Tokyo Disneyland.

6. It’s a Small World with Groot

Tokyo's overlay version introduces Groot and his Marvel friends alongside the classic ride. The colorful scenes depict children from different cultures, and it is fun to try and find Groot and his friends mixed in.

7. Mickey’s Magical Music World

The musical show Mickey’s Magical Music World captivated us completely. The performers' high-energy dance moves and vibrant costumes made it feel like a Broadway production.

8. Reach for the Stars Nighttime Show

Fireworks lit up the sky to a catchy soundtrack, and the castle was beautifully illuminated with projection displays. It was the perfect finale to our first day at Tokyo Disneyland.

9. Electrical Parade Dreamlights

This enchanting parade featured stunning floats and beloved Disney characters, all aglow as they passed by. It was a high-energy parade that I adored.

-Donald bun fried fish from Huey, Dewey and Louie's ($5)
We did take advantage of mobile order and found it very easy to use. We booked a Disney Vacation Package (DVP) and that made it easy to secure dining reservations at the popular restaurants before our visit. The Baymax curry is very popular, so grab a reservation at Center Street Coffeehouse to avoid a long wait.

With the DVP package, we also got unlimited drinks at counter service locations. You didn't even have to wait in line to get them, you just walked to the mobile order pickup counter and showed them your drink coupon, order and get your beverage.
