Things to do in Boerne, TX
There is so much to experience at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort. On resort grounds you have an award-winning 18-hole golf course, small seasonal activities like live music from regional artists, drive-in movies and large fire pits for gazing at those bright Texas stars. You can also walk, bike or jog down trails or enjoy poolside fare at Double L Bar and grill.
Puresol Salt Cave Spa is a one-of-a-kind salt cave spa located right at the resort.
La Cascada Table and bar is a posh restaurant with tasty Texas fare. Grab quick bites, coffee and do some gift shopping at La Tienda, located in-resort.
You can also embark on wine tours at a few local wineries, such as Hill Country Wine Works, Bending Branch Winery and Singing Water Vineyard. Tours costs around $155/person, which includes tasting and transport.
Places to eat & drink in Boerne, TX
With many great restaurants at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort, you might not find a reason to leave! Whether you decide to stay in or venture out, here are a few of my favorites at the resort and in nearby San Antonio.
Eddie V's: Seafood with impeccable food presentation.
The Creek Restaurant: American food situated on Cibolo Creek near Main St. Boerne historical town, which has lots of boutiques and gift shops. Try their wagyu meatballs!
Ritcher Tavern: American eats and craft cocktails in a 1920s building with vintage style. Great spot for catching up with friends.
La Cantera Terrace, connected to the beautiful Eilan Sustainable living Community, has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Fine dinning includes: Ruth's Chris, Piatti's Italian, Uni'Ko Japanese House for sushi and Georges Keep, which is a classy vintage cigar lounge with craft cocktails, wine and draft beers.
The Rustic @ The Rim Shopping Center: Casual atmosphere with live music, eats and drinks! Brunch on Sat & Sun from 10am-3pm.
Dog and Pony Grill: American eats and drinks with an outdoor covered patio and a fenced-in dog park, live music and dancing, playground and basketball court.
Little Gretel Restaurant: Best German Schnitzel and bratwurst I ever had!
The Dienger Trading Co.: Serving breakfast, sandwiches, beer and wine. Great coffee and beignets and connects to a clothing and gift shop in a 19 century building!
