Curator’s statement
Mallorca is an island that lets you choose your own adventure. You can have a sexy night out on a rooftop downtown, explore isolated streets in little mountain villages or relax on its beautiful beaches. I loved this island for its diverse experiences, amazing weather and natural charm. It’s on everyone’s radar right now for good reason — this is a Mediterranean paradise.

Things to do in Mallorca
Palma
The capital is bustling but manageable, and great for shopping and strolling with cute town squares and little streets.
You can rent a bike from Nano Bicycles to cruise along the beachfront, or to explore the island if you are more adventurous. Cycling is a major sport on Mallorca.
Or take it easy and just relax at one of the many beach clubs that line the shore.
Deia / Fornalutx / Valldemossa
The mountain areas have a completely different landscape with multiple towns to discover. Fornalutx is adorable with lots of narrow alleys. Valldemossa is beautiful too.
Soller / Port Soller
After exploring the little streets of Soller, definitely take the quaint tram down to the port area, which is livelier than the mountain town in the evenings.
You can rent paddleboards here from Soller SUP to explore the rocky coastline. They also offer a sunset tour.
Mirador De Es Colomer
This is a “don’t miss” scenic site from a cliff top with jaw-dropping views up and down the coast.
Pollença is also a nice town to check out if you make it out this way. You can climb the Calvari Steps (365 of them, one for every day of the year) for a great view, and to visit the small Calvario Chapel at the top.
Places to eat & drink in Mallorca
Palma
Assaona Gastrobeach Club for waterfront drinks and beach loungers.
Or visit Almaq, the Es Princep hotel rooftop bar for a view of the water from a distance.
Puerto Portals
Definitely check out Lucy Wang for upscale creative sushi.
Ritzi has multiple bars … downstairs outside, and upstairs more of a lounge. And if you’re up for dancing, the upstairs had a silent disco when I was here.
Deia
Even if you don’t stay at the Belmond hotel, you can dine at the gorgeous El Olivo with stunning views of the mountains.
Everyone raves about Ca’s Patro March on the water near here. It’s a unique setting set in a cliff overlooking a rocky beach (you have to hike out to it a bit) but admittedly it’s pretty touristy. If you can get a reservation, that’s the easiest way to ensure you can get in.
Port Soller
I had a great dinner at NENI on a hill overlooking the port. This features Israeli-Asian fusion cuisine, set inside the Bikini Island Hotel.
Patiki Beach is a more casual yet chic spot set directly on the water, open every day from noon to midnight.
