Day 1: Burlington

Day 1: Burlington

Whether you came by car, train or plane, Burlington is one of the most vibrant cities in New England, and a must-visit for your trip to Vermont.

Once you're in town, kickstart your day with a visit to the charming and eclectic neighborhood spot, The Skinny Pancake. Enjoy a breakfast that goes beyond the ordinary, with creative and delicious pancake creations using local Vermont ingredients.

After you've fueled up, head to Church Street Marketplace for a leisurely morning stroll (and burn off some of those pancake calories). Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere, exploring unique shops, boutiques and street performers, the true heart of Burlington.

Continue the morning with a leisurely walk or bike ride around Waterfront Park or take a cruise along Lake Champlain.

For lunch, treat yourself to farm-to-table delights at The Farmhouse Tap & Grill. After lunch, travel back in time to your college years with a stroll around the University of Vermont, taking in the historic architecture and picturesque scenery. We highly recommend checking out the Fleming Museum of Art while you're there.

As the day transitions into evening, consider dinner at a local gem like The Archives for a unique speakeasy experience and craft cocktails. Alternatively, head to Nectar's for live music and an eclectic atmosphere before heading to Hotel Vermont for the night.

Day 2: Stowe

Day 2: Stowe

Begin your day with a complimentary breakfast at the hotel, gearing up for an exciting adventure in Stowe. Take a picturesque drive to Stowe and kickstart your mountain exploration at Stowe Mountain Resort. Choose from a variety of trails, with our top recommendation being the Long Trail section leading to the highest point in Vermont, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the fall foliage. If hiking isn't your preference, opt for the Gondola SkyRide for an equally spectacular journey to the summit.

For a late lunch or early dinner, make your way to Doc Ponds, a local gem celebrated for its inventive comfort food and selection of craft beers.

Before checking in at Trapp Family Lodge for the night, make a pit stop at von Trapp Brewery & Bierhall for a nightcap (or two). Afterward, unwind and soothe your muscles in the resort's hot tub, a perfect way to relax after your day of hiking adventures.

Day 3: Camel's Hump

Day 3: Camel's Hump

Conclude your Vermont journey with a satisfying breakfast at the resort. Head to Camel's Hump State Park for the final leg of your adventure, embarking on a hike to the summit. The untouched beauty of the surroundings is truly enchanting, creating a sense of disbelief that such places exist on our planet.

Following your invigorating hike, journey to Shelburne Farms for a farm-to-table lunch experience. Post-lunch, choose to explore the historic estate, indulge in a cheese tasting or visit the vineyard for a delightful wine-tasting session. It's the perfect way to cap off your extended weekend in Vermont before traveling back home.
