Curator’s statement
Although many visit Bermuda via cruise ship, the many quick and direct flights from the East Coast make it a perfect weekend destination. The beautiful beaches, friendly locals and safe environment will have you in vacation mode immediately. The island may be small, but has diverse attractions. Bermuda is a popular location for a Babymoon. Since it is farther north than most tropical destinations, it is outside of hurricane prone areas.

Things to do in Bermuda
Beaches
The popular Horseshoe Bay and less visited Elbow Beach and Warwick Long Bay are known for their pink sand. Many beaches have reefs just off shore, most famously Tobacco Bay. Looking for a shallow beach perfect for little ones or those who do not swim? Shelly Bay beach is the spot.
Snorkel and Scuba
Even if you do not swim, you can enjoy the magic of the world's northernmost reef system via a glass bottom boat.
St. George’s
Go to St. George's the island's first English settlement for gorgeous architecture and cute shops.
Caves
Visit Crystal and Fantasy Caves, Bermuda's largest cave system which is the perfect place to escape the summer heat or wait out a rain shower and very close to the Swizzle Inn if you need refreshment afterward.
Spa
Relax with treatments at Natura Cave Spa. Each private cabana is on a pontoon in the natural cave where the gentle dripping from stalactites keeps you in tune to the environment.
