  • Shore excursions: During each port of call, you’ll find a wide range of activities to suit your vacation style. Want to relax? Try booking a cabana at Royal Caribbeans private island CocoCay.

  • Prefer thrills? Go zip lining in Puerto Rico. There are also numerous city tours for the history buffs or foodies in the group. Each port can be tailored specifically for your ideal day.

  • Onboard Activities: There are also tons of things to do for everyone while on board. Those sea days can be spent relaxing at the adults-only solarium pool while those under 18 hang out in the kids club, Adventure Ocean or the teens club.

  • If you want to spend some quality time together, you can mini-golf, rock climb, swim in the pool, play ping-pong, enjoy an ice cream cone, watch broadway style shows, or play a game of basketball. There are activities for everyone from the 6 month old baby to the grandparents and everywhere in between. Royal Caribbean prides themselves on being a vacation destination for everyone.

A Note on Accomodations

Each ship has a variety of stateroom offerings to fit your budget. Interior staterooms are perfect for those who only need a place to sleep and plan to spend the rest of their days taking advantage of all the offerings. Balconies are great for those who want to experience the amazing views of the ocean from the privacy of their own rooms. For those who want a truly luxury experience, try the Star class suites which offer a personal Genie for all of your needs onboard. Everyone can have a wonderful time on a Royal Caribbean cruise. Whether this is your first cruise or your 20th, let me help customize your vacation to make it a trip you won’t forget!

Places to eat & drink in Royal Caribbean International Cruise

Eating on the cruise

Each ship has a variety of both complimentary and specialty food options.

Complimentary: Main dining room is the traditional sit-down dining that you probably think of will most cruises. If the main dining room doesn’t suit you, each ship has the Windjammer buffet for a laid back, eat what you want whenever you want atmosphere.

Depending on the ship, you also have pizza places, cafes, Mexican restaurants, and ice cream included in your cruise fare.

  • Pro tip: El Loco Fresh is the place to go for tacos, nachos and burritos during the day. If your ship has it, don’t skip it!

If you want to experience a different style of dining, each ship offers a variety of specialty restaurants for an extra cost. These may include Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen, Izumi Sushi and Hibachi, Hooked Seafood, Chops Grill, and Wonderland.

Whether you decide to stick with complimentary options, only eat at specialty dining, or do a combination, you won’t be disappointed in the food that Royal Caribbean has to offer.

  • Pro-tip: There are soft-serve ice cream machines on the pool deck for when you want a cool treat but don't want to leave the pool.
