Curator’s statement
Known for being Napa's more casual sister, Sonoma is the perfect location for a wine-filled girls' getaway. Whether you're brunching, enjoying the spa or lounging by the pool, there is something here for everyone in the group. And, of course, the wine is some of the best in America.

Book the Shuffleboard Social at Abbott's Passage Winery + Mercantile. Play shuffleboard in the middle of the vines while snacking on a grazing board and drinking the estate's fabulous wine.
Explore all the local artisan shops surrounding the historic Sonoma Plaza. Whether you're in the market for cheese, jewelry, art or even furniture, it's an easy way to spend the afternoon.

Spend the day lounging by the pool at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery. Resembling a day club experience, rent a cabine for the group to make the most of your experience.

Places to eat & drink in Sonoma, CA
Non-Wine Options
Hop Monk Tavern: When you need a break from all the wine, stop by this beer garden for some local beer and casual bar bites.
The Beacon (at the Outpost): Advertised as a speakeasy, this stunning upstairs bar has an impressive cocktail list to rival any major city's "it" bar.
Brunch
Sunflower Caffe: A popular brunch spot on the square; make sure you get in line early as they don't accept reservations.
The Girl & The Fig: The food here can only be described as exceptional, making it the coveted "best restaurant of the trip" spot for my girls trip.
Dinner
B&V Whiskey Bar & Grille: Located just off Sonoma Plaza, this casual restaurant has a surprisingly upscale menu.
Della Santina's: Make sure to grab a spot in the quaint back patio to pretend you're drinking wine in Italy.
