Things to do

Shopping on Melrose Avenue: Melrose Ave. is a shopping playground, mixing high-end boutiques, vintage gems and streetwear hotspots — all with that signature LA edge. You’ll find everything from designer labels to thrifted treasures, plus some of the best sneaker and indie fashion stores in the city.
Melrose Trading Post: Melrose Trading Post is the Sunday go-to for vintage treasures, one-of-a-kind finds and the best people-watching in LA. Held at Fairfax High, this open-air market is packed with everything from retro denim and handmade jewelry to funky home decor. It’s laid-back and full of cool, stylish Angelenos hunting for their next statement piece. Take your time wandering and get ready to dig — it’s all part of the fun.
The Comedy Store: A true Sunset Strip icon, The Comedy Store is where legends are made and laughter never stops. This historic, no-frills club has hosted everyone from Pryor to Chappelle, and on any given night, you might catch the next big thing — or a surprise drop-in from a comedy heavyweight. The vibe is old-school, the drinks are strong and the jokes? Absolutely unfiltered. Whether you’re a comedy junkie or just looking for a wildly fun night out, The Comedy Store guarantees a good time (and maybe a little roasting if you sit up front).
The Roxy: The Roxy is pure rock ‘n’ roll history — an intimate, no-frills venue where legends have played and future icons get their start. The sound is chef’s kiss, the crowd is always into it and, with a space this small, every show feels up close and personal. Whether you're catching a rising indie act or a surprise set from a big name, The Roxy never disappoints. Pro tip: Hit up The Rainbow next door before or after the show for some classic rock ‘n’ roll, divey vibes, strong drinks and maybe even a rockstar sighting. It’s a WeHo rite of passage.
Places to eat & drink

Dialog Cafe: Dialog Cafe is West Hollywood’s go-to for great coffee, good vibes and a seriously good breakfast burrito. This family-run gem has a laid-back patio that’s perfect for people-watching, catching up with friends or just soaking in that WeHo energy. Whether you’re grabbing a quick latte or settling in for a lazy brunch, Dialog always delivers.
ĐiĐi: ĐiĐi is West Hollywood’s newest it-spot, serving up Vietnamese flavors in a chic setting with just the right amount of edge. From crispy Hainan chicken to next-level shrimp toast, every bite hits just right. The cocktails are just as fun, with creative twists that pair perfectly with the buzzing, stylish crowd. The vibe is trendy yet inviting. With its effortlessly cool energy and buzzy crowd, ĐiĐi is the perfect blend of chic, cozy and totally crave-worthy.
Oste: Oste is West Hollywood's chic Italian gem, bringing a taste of Rome to Third Street. Specializing in pinsa, a lighter, crispier cousin to traditional pizza, their menu offers a fresh twist on classic Italian fare. The ambiance is a blend of rustic charm and modern flair, making it perfect for casual dining in style. Whether you're indulging in their signature pinsas or savoring a bowl of house-made pasta, Oste delivers an authentic and delightful dining experience.
Laurel Hardware: Don’t let the name fool you — Laurel Hardware is less about tools and more about effortlessly cool energy. Behind its unassuming storefront, you’ll find a sleek and buzzy hotspot, perfect for a lively dinner or drinks with friends. But the real magic? The garden-lit outdoor space that feels like a secret garden. Laurel Hardware is the perfect mix of laid-back and lively.
E.P. & L.P.: Sitting pretty above West Hollywood, E.P. & L.P. is the ultimate spot for sunset drinks, city views and a buzzing social scene. The cocktails are top-tier, the music selection keeps the energy just right, and the open-air setup makes every night feel like a summer party. Whether you’re kicking off the evening or staying till last call, this rooftop is always a vibe. Pro tip: Taco Tuesdays and weekend brunch are popular times to visit. Be sure to check their Instagram (@eplosangeles) for events and seasonal offerings like Melrose Rooftop Theatre, Holly Jolly Holiday Bar and Heartbreak Saloon.
Need to know
Airport: LAX is the most popular airport to fly into Los Angeles, but can be crowded and chaotic. Hollywood Burbank Airport is a great option to consider if flights are available and within your budget.
Transportation: Rideshare will be your best friend. While some areas in West Hollywood are walkable, the neighborhood as a whole is pretty spread out.
