Curator’s statement
Panama City offers a perfect blend of history, culture, natural beauty and modern amenities, making it an excellent destination for travelers. I had an amazing short stay in the in Casco Viejo, which is also known as Old Town. It is renowned for its beautiful Spanish colonial-style, charming plazas and cobblestone streets that make it a photographer's paradise. I spent my time taking in the sights, eating at different restaurants and chatting with the locals. Panama has a lot to offer.

Places to eat & drink in Panama City, Panama
Casa Casco Rooftop Bar is one of the best rooftop bars in the area. Its modern and variety of decor is stellar, but pales in comparison to the views from the rooftop. The mixed cocktails as well as fried fish dishes are superb.
Mahalo is a beautiful space, perfect for pizza/flatbreads, octopus and postres.
Located in Hotel La Compania, Exilio Cocktail Bar offers a signature cocktail called The Albayalde as an ode to the neighborhood’s storied past. With Licor 43, a ginger infusion, and aged rum, The Albayalde is served in a martini glass with lemon, thyme and a pink pepper garnish.
Tantalo with a large selection to choose from, a bustling party scene and a great food, this rooftop will leave you satisfied. I would recommend sampling the tasting menu to include samplers for your group, such as prawns and fish with coconut sauce.
Mezcalito Pub Bistro Mexicano & Mezcaleria is where you should be if tacos and guacamole are your thing!
Mazatlán Rooftop offers some of the best margaritas, birria tacos, soup and more, all while sitting along the Panama Coastline.
Marzola Parilla Panama Argentina is an Argentinian restaurant in the Old Town. This joint has been lavishly decorated with brightly upcycled gems with enough charisma and charm to draw you in.
Tomillo Panamá is a rustic steakhouse perfect for lunch and dinner. They offer various seafood and rice dishes.
