Day 1: Arrive in Buenos Aires

Arrive at Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) in Buenos Aires. Transfer to your hotel and check-in.

Afternoon: City tour of Buenos Aires. Choose from these four options.

  • Relaxation: Spend some time relaxing in Parque Tres de Febrero, a large green space perfect for a leisurely walk or boat ride on the lake. This park is an oasis in the bustling city and offers picturesque views and serene landscapes.

  • Adventure: Explore the colorful neighborhood of La Boca, known for its vibrant architecture and tango street performances. This area is rich in history and culture, and is a favorite spot for both locals and tourists to soak up the lively atmosphere. Be warned that it is a bit touristy.

  • Cultural: Visit the MALBA, a museum that showcases Latin American art from the 20th and 21st centuries. This museum is renowned for its innovative architecture and thought-provoking exhibits. Must do for Frida fans.

  • Cultural: Take a guided tour of La Bombonera, the iconic stadium of Boca Juniors. The tour includes a visit to the museum, the stands, and the field. This is a must-visit for football fans as it provides a deep dive into the history and culture of one of the most famous football clubs in the world.

Dinner

Don Julio, a renowned steakhouse that offers some of the best steaks in Buenos Aires, served in a classic Argentinian ambiance. The restaurant is known for its warm hospitality and top-quality meats. Reservations are a must as this is world famous.

Day 2: Explore the best of Buenos Aires

Morning

Take a guided tour of the Teatro Colon, one of the most famous opera houses in the world. The theater is renowned for its stunning architecture and acoustics. This tour will offer you an insider's view of this iconic cultural institution.

Explore San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, known for its cobbled streets, colonial architecture and lively street markets.

Day 3: Fly to Iguazu

Visit the Iguazu Falls on the Argentinian side. Take a boat tour that takes you up close to the falls. Evening

Day 4: Fly to El Calafate

Visit the Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side. Take a helicopter ride over the falls. This breathtaking experience offers a bird's eye view of the falls and the surrounding rainforest. Day 5: Perito Moreno Glacier and exploration

Full-day tour to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Take a boat ride on Lake Argentino to get up close to the glacier. This boat trip offers stunning views of the glacier from the water and provides the opportunity to witness large chunks of ice breaking off and crashing into the lake.

Visit the Glaciarium Ice Museum. This state-of-the-art facility provides detailed insights into the Patagonian ice field, its glaciers and the effects of global warming.

Afternoon

Continue your exploration of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Trek on the glacier. Guided treks are available for different fitness levels and provide a unique opportunity to walk on the glacier and explore its crevices and ice formations. Visit the observation decks. There are a series of walkways and observation decks that provide different perspectives of the glacier. It's a great spot for photography and to appreciate the sheer size and beauty of the glacier.

Dinner: Isabel Cocina al Disco, a charming restaurant located in El Calafate. The restaurant is known for its dishes cooked on a disk, a traditional Argentinian cooking method. The cozy atmosphere and unique cooking style make it a must-visit spot in El Calafate.

Evening

Free time to relax at the hotel or explore the town. There are several shops, bars and cafes to visit. It's a great opportunity to try some local chocolates or buy souvenirs.

Day 6: El Calafate to Ushuaia

Flight to Ushuaia.

Explore Ushuaia.

Visit the End of the World Museum. This museum provides a comprehensive overview of the region's history, from its indigenous peoples to its role as a penal colony. Take the End of the World Train. Evening

Day 7: Ushuaia — Beagle Channel and Tierra del Fuego National Park

Morning

Beagle Channel boat tour. Visit the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, also known as the "Lighthouse at the End of the World", and the Estancia Harberton, the oldest estancia (ranch) in Tierra del Fuego. Enjoy the stunning scenery of the Beagle Channel, with its dramatic mountain ranges, glaciers, and wildlife such as sea lions, penguins and various bird species.

Afternoon

Visit the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Hike one of the many trails in the park. The park offers a variety of trails for all fitness levels, from easy walks to challenging hikes.

Visit the Galeria Tematica Historia Fueguina, a thematic gallery that offers a journey through the history of Tierra del Fuego, from the indigenous peoples to the present day.

Day 8: Ushuaia to Buenos Aires

Explore Buenos Aires. Visit the Recoleta Cemetery, where many famous Argentinians are buried, including Eva Perón. Spend some time at the Japanese Garden, a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city.

Evening

Free time to explore the city. Watch a tango show. Buenos Aires is the birthplace of tango, and there are many venues where you can watch a live performance. Take a night bike tour of the city. Buenos Aires is a bike-friendly city, and a night tour offers a different perspective of its iconic landmarks.

Day 9: Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires city tour. Visit the Plaza de Mayo, the political heart of Buenos Aires and the iconic Obelisco monument. Walk along the Avenida de Mayo, a grand boulevard lined with historic buildings, cafes and shops.

Visit the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, home to an impressive collection of Argentine and international art. Explore the colorful neighborhood of La Boca, famous for its brightly painted buildings, street art and tango dancers.

Take a leisurely stroll along the Puerto Madero waterfront, a modern area with restaurants, bars and a beautiful bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava. Visit the MALBA (Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires), which has an impressive collection of Latin American art from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Day 10: Day trip to Tigre

Take a train to Tigre, a picturesque town located on the Parana Delta. Visit the Museo de Arte Tigre, an art museum located in a stunning Belle Époque building. Take a boat tour of the Parana Delta. The delta is a network of islands and canals and a boat tour offers a relaxing way to explore the natural beauty of the area.

Afternoon

Continue exploring Tigre. Rent a kayak or canoe and paddle through the canals of the delta. Visit the Puerto de Frutos, a lively market where you can buy local crafts, food and souvenirs.

Dinner: Vivanco Restaurante, a riverfront restaurant in Tigre. The restaurant offers traditional Argentine dishes with a modern twist, and the outdoor seating area offers beautiful views of the river. The scenic location and delicious food make it a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Evening

Return to Buenos Aires. Explore the San Telmo neighborhood, known for its cobblestone streets, colonial buildings and antique shops.

Day 11: Buenos Aires

Free time to pack and prepare for the flight home.

Day 12: Departure
