Things to do in NYC
No trip is complete without a visit to the Central Park Zoo and a stop at the Museum of Natural History or the Modern Museum of Art.
If your kids love bubbles as much as mine do, you may want to consider getting tickets to the Gazillion Bubble Show. If they have moved on from bubbles and graduated to slime, then you can go to Sloomoo Institue for all things slime. *Warning...they do take slime home.
For the kids that may need to jump in a large tub of sprinkles and have a sugar fix at the end of the experience, the Museum of Ice Cream may be a good fit. Future interior designers, may want to check out the Color Factory.
If you need little bit more of a thrill, then you may want to look at RiseNY. This is a 4D ride that will take you above the NYC skyline. There is also a great museum section before you get on the ride with photo ops with the "Friends" couch and a large mural of Biggie Smalls.
For the kids that need next level adventure, there is the Beast Boats. A very fast ride down the Hudson to see the Statue of Liberty with some fun music and a little bit of a splash.
Places to eat & drink in NYC
My kids love Ellen's Stardust Diner as a stop before a Broadway show or even on a trip when we do not have tickets because this is an amazing show!
Good places to stop for sugar fixes after:
Black Tap: *Milkshakes are fabulous!
