Where to stay

Day 1: Pre-board

It’s recommended to stay 1–2 nights before embarking on your private charter to decompress from your flight, and take in some of the on-land sites. You’ll arrive in Split, Croatia, where you will eventually board your charter. However, since the area is bustling and crowded, you may prefer to settle into your vacation in the nearby town of Sibenik. Sibenik is a little quieter, only a ~45 min drive north. Check into your hotel, relax or take a tour of Sibenik's Old Town. Conclude the day with dinner at a local winery nearby.

Just outside Sibenik is National Park Krka Waterfalls, which can be explored on foot or best, on bikes. Have dinner at a local family vineyard.

* If you stay in Split, travel back in time to the Ancient Roman Empire with a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, wander through small, charming squares, old and narrow streets and local markets.

Embark in Split for your private charter.

Day 2: Cruising

Cruise to the small islands of Drvenik, Drevnik Mali and Drevnik Veli, where the sparsely populated islands are peaceful oases. The crystal-clear blue lagoon on the east side of Drvenik Veli is a favorite spot for swimming. Evening at anchor.

Arrive at Brac Island and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dalmatian Islands through challenging bike trails. Starting on the highest peak of all the Adriatic islands – Vidova gora (778 m), then easily descend to the shore and to the nearby villages. Enjoy water sports like parasailing, diving or kayaking while anchored off the beach. Lunch and Dinner on board.

Days 3-4: Beaches

Stopping off in Vis, take in a history and/or gastronomy tour. See old churches, a monastery and an ancient Roman theater and city walls. Visit vineyards, or try some homemade grappa.

On the South side of the island is Stiniva Beach. It is a pure white pebbled beach with a dramatic cliff-edge entrance to the sea accessible by boat, giving an exclusive feel.

Check out Bisevo’s Blue Grotto, and head to Fort George restaurant for evening cocktails at sunset. Recharge and relax at the end of the day in the tranquil harbor.

Days 5-6: Hvar

Cruise around Hvar Island, a popular and vibrant island. Discover a secluded beach, snorkel around Pakleni archipelago or spend the day kayaking. On-shore, reserve your spot at one of the beach clubs and have lunch. At night, take in the nightlife — dine at Gariful, Zori. Dance on the beach or stay on your yacht for sunset views.

Day 7: Forest and wine

In the morning, head to Korcula, known for dense pine forests but also more vineyards, coves and sandy beaches. The old town of Korcula, dubbed “little Dubrovnik” is Marco Polo’s birthplace and is commemorated throughout. Catch some local folk music, dancing. Experience indigenous Grk grapes through the winemaking tradition, or walk through the medieval town. Korcula is quaint and low-key with tons of cute local shops selling artisanal jewelry, spices. Have dinner at the Michelin-starred LD Restaurant.

Days 8-9: National park and local fare

Cruising to Mljet, you’ll enjoy natural scenery and can visit their national park. Visit the 12c. Benedictine monastery, which sits on a small lake within the island. Rent bikes or dip in one of their crystal-clear lakes. Have locally sourced lobster at a local restaurant. The Elaphiti Islands are 13 mostly uninhabited islands- sail around and anchor at Kosmec Bay off the coast of Jakljan Island, a nature-lovers’ paradise.

Day 10: Dubrovnik departure

Conclude in Dubrovnik, Croatia’s second-largest city. Well-recognized for several epic Game of Thrones scenes, you can do a walking tour of those locations and along the famous ramparts and fortresses around the bay. Check out Bacvice Beach for one last dip into the azure waters. Walk around the Old Town, or take in more of the 4th C Roman architecture.
