Curator’s statement
This destination is special to me as my mother's origin is from these two places. Despite the fact that I'm Greek… Are you looking for a place a bit different from Italy or Greece for your summer? Adriatic coastline is the answer! Croatia is characterized as a coastal gem which captivates travelers. It combines historic beauty and amazing views. Montenegro, on the other hand, is a paradise-destination for nature lovers, with numerous options to explore it either by car, boat or bicycle. There are towns easily accessible and perfect for relaxed strolls. From adventure activities to relaxing spa moments, you won't experience any dullness.

Things to do in Dubrovnik - Montenegro
Tip for both destinations: Don't visit them during peak summer season (June–July–August). It's very hot and touristic. Preferably in April/May or September.
At DUBROVNIK:
Dubrovnik was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. It is famous for its well-preserved medieval buildings and impressive city walls. Take a walk along the Stradun in the Old Town. I recommend a 1-1,5 hour guided tour with an experienced guide (can give recommendations).
At MONTENEGRO:
Visit Kotor bay and Budva.
Must see Sveti Stefan (5 min drive from Budva). Sveti Stefan is a small town on the Montenegrin coast, famous for the picturesque island that lies in front of it.
A protected island village connected to the mainland by a narrow footpath, with stone villas that overlook an amazing sand beach with tempting blue waters.
