Curator’s statement
I love Palm Beach for its charm, world-class shopping, arts and culture, yachting and beautiful beaches. I have spent many special occasions there, including ringing in the New Year in 2000 at Mar-a-Lago. Rubbing elbows with the rich and the famous in their playground is a plus too. The Breakers Palm Beach hotel is one of my favorite places to be. I love spending time at their poolside or coming in for a spa weekend.

Day 1: Arrival
Upon your arrival in Palm Beach, you are welcomed by a glass of champagne. While settling into your hotel, ask for dinner reservations: Ta-boo or Cafe L'Europe for a romantic evening and Palm Beach Grill and/or Cucina for casual and tasty cuisine. It's time to refresh and get into your Palm Beach attire which may include Lilly Pulitzer, a ball gown and tuxedo. Get ready for drinks at the Flagler Club and off to dinner you go.
Day 2: Shopping Day
Shop Worth Avenue because it is the Rodeo Drive of Palm Beach. Luxury awaits with Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Stubbs & Wootton just to name a few to fill your hearts desire with the ultimate best of the best.
Take a break and have lunch at The Brazilian Court at Cafe Boulud because the wild lobster roll is out of this world. Another option for lunch is BiCE Ristorante Palm Beach for their fresh salad, Caprese Con Burrata E Pomodori and the wonderful classic dish, Risotto Al Frutti Di Mare. It is a favorite for so many locals and visitors.
Now that you have bags of pleasure from your favorite designers, get back to the hotel for a steam and massage. It is a great way to end your shopping spree and rest your tired feet.
Day 3: Yachting and Dining
Charter a Super Yacht with Anchor Rides because seeing Palm Beach by water is special.
You can see the homes of the rich and famous and relax on the smooth waters of the Intracoastal Water Way. Finish the ride with cocktails and a perfect sunset.
Dinner, this evening, is served at Cafe Boulud. The French-American menu created by famed Chef Daniel Boulud puts a spotlight on the incredible seafood and produce of the region with a classic French touch synonymous with Boulud himself. Think: Local Spiced Mahi with Key West Shrimp and Curry Leaf, Pan Seared Scallops with Brussels sprouts and miso jus and the beloved Dover Sole Meuniere, filleted at the table-side. Don't forget to order the warm upside-down Guanaja Chocolate Cake with pistachio ice-cream.
Should French food not appease you, whereas you would like a more romantic vibe, Cafe L'Europe is a wonderful place to dine. Here you can listen to the brilliant pianist David Crohan that has been entertaining guests including Presidents, First Ladies and celebrities. You'll find a lively and elegant atmosphere serving continental cuisine. Experiencing either restaurant will set you worlds apart from your average dining meal.
Day 4: Spa & Dancing
Enjoy a spa day at The Breakers Spa, then relax at the pool and take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. Have lunch at the resort at the Seafood Bar and watch the fish swim under your plate! Golf and tennis are also an option at the resort and can be arranged through the concierge services.
Arrange a hotel car to take you to a nearby secret on Royal Poinciana Way for cocktails at Cucina Palm Beach followed by dinner and dancing to the wee hours! This spot serves fresh Ragu' Bolognese, a classic northern Italian ragu, along with many other Italian dishes. My favorite is the fresh grilled calamari followed by white pie, black truffle, thin-crusted pizza! You'd think you were in Napoli. After 10:00 pm, the restaurant turns into a dance club, with live music and sparking lights and a disco ball for your dancing pleasure. What a great way to drink, eat and dance the night away.
Day 5: Sunday Brunch
If Sunday is your departure day, enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from your room and then head out for a decadent Sunday Brunch at The Circle. It’s an elaborate, not-to-be-missed event sought out by seasoned travelers and Palm Beach locals alike.
Begin with favorites like Belgian waffles, eggs benedict, made-to-order omelets and fresh fruit, then explore our more eclectic offerings, such as imported cheeses and pâtés, pastas, fresh fish, baby lamb chops and carved beef tenderloin. Then discover the raw bar, boasting a sushi selection, domestic caviar station, Maine lobster, jumbo shrimp, oysters and seasonal stone crab (October - May.) Last but certainly not least, this spot also serves more than 30 desserts.
Should you wish to extend your stay or explore a little further up north from Palm Beach, a visit to Cape Canaveral to see the Space Shuttle launch or a visit to Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom and Epcot would be a great plan for additional days.
Let's talk about customizing this itinerary for you. Or, about other destinations.
