Montreal Marche Jean Talon

Le Petit Dep: This is a truly charming little shop and cafe is packed full of snacks, candy and other random food items.

Marche Jean-Talon: Open air market with fresh produce, meats, cheeses and lots of goodies.

Local Food Tour: Montreal is so full of great food, food tours are by neighborhood. You can't go wrong with any of them. Also, pro tip: Do this at the beginning of your trip so that you can ask for more local recommendations from your guide!

Montreal Soupe Dumplings

Breakfast:

Tommy Cafe: This two-story cafe is bright and inviting. Whether you come for avocado toast, a chocolate croissant or just a cup of coffee, you won't be disappointed.

St. Viateur Bagels: This iconic, family-owned shop is the longest-running bagel shop in Montreal. Tip: When you order, ask for one fresh out of the oven!

Lunch:

Olive et Gourmando: A beloved, must-visit destination for anyone visiting Montreal. A delightful blend of fresh ingredients, bold flavors and exceptional hospitality. What to Order: "Poached egg on your face" Panini, The Cuban Sandwich and grab a pastry to go!

Sammi & Soupe Dumpling: This Montreal hidden gem promises a great experience for dumpling lovers. This cozy restaurant offers a great selection of flavorful soup dumplings that you can watch being made, making it a go-to spot for those seeking Asian cuisine in the heart of the city

Dinner:

L'Usine de Spaghetti: A delicious Italian spot right in the middle of Old Montreal! A warm and welcoming atmosphere with a great wine selection, mouthwatering pasta dishes and an all-you-can-eat salad bar. What to order: Spaghetti St-Paul, Raviolis Le Windsor and a glass of wine

Yokato Yokabai Ramen: Some say this is the best ramen in the city... I don't know if that's true but it's the best I've had! Everything is made in-house and it will leave you wanting to come back to slurp another bowl

Cocktails:

El Pequeño Bar: A small Cuban hole-in-the-wall that you might miss if you didn't know to look for it. What to order: Mojito and Cubano Sandwich

Atwater Cocktail Club: Dark and moody, this French brasserie-style speakeasy is sure to be a good time.

Dessert:

Kem CoBa: Traditional and unique flavors of sorbet, ice cream and soft serve.

Holychoco: If you like chocolate, you'll love Holychoco! This will be a chocolate experience like you have never had. What to order: Close your eyes and pick, you can't go wrong!

Rustique: A classic country pie shop but in the city. Full of delicious pies, cakes and all kinds of other confections. Stop by for a late morning snack or an afternoon pick-me-up. What to order: An assortment of mini pies.

Coffee:

La Finca: A casual spot to grab a latte and people-watch. They also serve pastries and have a brunch menu.

Crew Collective & Cafe: A co-working space and cafe housed in the 1920s Royal Bank of Canada Building.
