Curator’s statement

For the last four months, I have been living and working remotely from London, which has made me greatly appreciate this city. The energy and the buzz are truly unique, and it radiates in all that it provides to its visitors. During this time, I have explored and stumbled upon many coffee spots that have been able to capitative me and it was time to share.

Shaman Coffee

An absolute hidden gem where you can just enjoy the ambiance and let the wellness space rejuvenate you. Stumbled upon this on my walk on the Thames River, and saw a space that captured my eyes. With suave music and people co-working (free) or just taking a moment to slow down - this spot is worth the stop!

Rapha Cycle Club London

you mean to tell me that the famous cycle store has a coffee spot... "absolutely!" By Far, one of my favorite spots with such a high energy cadence throughout the space. Complimentary mint/fruit water for the hydration station (if you travel in Europe you know how rare that is). The coffee and tea is so smooth. It will motivate you to get on your bike and take that trek as it's a great pit stop for bikers/walkers around London.

A Fallen Poète

If a brand could speak on the embrace of new age culture, it would be this gem. One of my favorite aspects about this cafe is the ability to bring a community and shop its clothing/apparel. Apart from the clothes, it provides an incredible transition into the evening.

  • Coffee - Impeccable

  • Clothing - Priceless

  • Cocktails - Set the tone for the weekend!

Hideaway Coffee

A true definition of a hidden gem, even with the name being a giveaway as to where it may be located. The coffee and ambiance here was wonderful. You could sit here and people watch behind closed doors in a space that feels remarkable. The staff and people sitting around are truly special.

The Colombian Coffee Company

I can't say enough how much I appreciated stopping here nearly every morning to get a coffee - it felt like home. The expertise and knowledge of coffee here is one that cannot be missed. You will see two menus - European and Colombian, so do not be scared to try something new here as its a stellar experience.

The Gentlemen Baristas

The absolute gold standard of coffee out here and a retreat for the individual looking to embrace the coffee Mecca. This spot has some of the greatest designs provided by the Baristas and the vibes are never lacking in this spot. You will see the brand in multiple coffee shops throughout London, so why not stop at the HQ of it all!

%Arabica

The essence of trying the purest coffee at one of the most iconic locations of Covenant Garden is a must. The coffee is truly in a league of its own, tasting the beans natural and fresh daily, which makes this degree of coffee a slight bit stronger than the most. Be prepared to be absolutely wired after taking this coffee in but also appreciate a culture experience within the coffee world that is phenomenal.

WatchHouse

The list would not be complete without having included the most modern coffee house in London (13 locations). The spot is truly unique and the food selection is delicious here. The experience of a clean minimalist coffee house mixed with the energy of London is a spot you do not want to miss on your trip. The coffee experience is very personal here as you have an immersive barista experience that tailors the experience of the coffee being properly measured in front of you. Make sure to have this spot added to your list - it will be hard to miss.
