Fora’s Take

The Philippines are a fabulous destination especially during the holidays1

The beaches had such fine, white sands and the water was crystal-clear. The resort had great amenities and the food was exceptional.

Things to do in the Philippines

A vast body of water during the daytime

You’re all set to explore the white beaches of Boracay, but there are so many people who will approach you for water activities and island tours. If you’re one for haggling prices and chatting up locals, you will have many opportunities.

You can also try other water activities like banana boating, UFO, helmet diving, kitesurfing, and more! There is also a sunset cruise, too.

Note: They charge per boat, so try to go in bigger groups.

If not, I suggest chilling by the sand and enjoying the sunsets.

Note: Sunsets can be seen on the left side of the island (Puka Shell Beach, Diniwid Beach, White Beach).

Or if you’re up for some exercise, you can do a hike from Bulabog Beach, known for its strong winds, all the way to Bulabog Viewpoint (120 pesos/pax to go up) and back as a loop. You can also do a cute walk from Willy’s Rock to Lambros Point all the way to Diniwid Beach as well.
