Curator’s statement

Santorini seems to be like a place where one would wish to spend the rest of his or her life, because it is very beautiful. The blue domed church, crystal white homes and amazing sunsets make it look like a place from another world. I find it surprising each time I explore the historic sites of this island and discover its forgotten archaeological treasures. What makes Santorini special is its culture which encompasses all aspects of daily life in this place starting from tasty local dishes, vibrant nightlife and amicable local people. Besides, how can one resist the island's calm beaches with their pure waters suitable for self meditation.
