Curator’s statement

Los Cabos, Mexico, makes the perfect destination to celebrate special occasions, such as weddings, milestone birthdays or fitness and even corporate retreats. Absolutely perfect for larger groups. It’s breathtaking scenery, vibrant culture and world class resorts and restaurants are just some of the reasons why this location continues to captivate the hearts of tourists from around the world. Los Cabos consists of Cabo San Lucas, the Corridor and San Jose Del Cabo. Cabo San Lucas has a lots of bars and clubs and is a very lively city. The Corridor is a 20 mile stretch of gorgeous beaches, world class golf courses and luxurious resorts linking the cities of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo together. San Jose Del Cabo’s laid back atmosphere and picturesque palm lined lagoons are a perfect combination of Old World Mexico and modern art. Full of shops and art galleries, this gem will be one to remember.

When choosing a resort please remember that most of Cabo’s beaches are not swimmable. There a few resorts, like the One and Only, Esperanza, An Auberge Resort or the Montage that offer swimmable beaches.

Day 1: A Cooking Class & Shopping

Flora Farms Private Cooking Class and Lunch

  • This activity is a must do while in Cabo. A 25-acre working farm offers cooking classes, spa services and has a wonderful farm to table restaurant. It's hard to describe just what a special experience dining at Flora Farms entails but the food and atmosphere are both next level.

  • I book a cooking class for my groups here followed by a fantastic lunch outside right by the foothills of Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, a stunning view. You have a choice between Rustic Ratatouille, Seasonal Tamales (great for kids) and Regional salsa (the most popular!) for the cooking class and they can accommodate a maximum of 18 people per class. When I have larger groups we book two classes side by side.

Afternoon - Shopping Downtown at San Jose Del Cabo

  • Browse between the little local shops of Old World Mexico and modern Art Galleries.

Dinner - Funky Geisha

  • Enjoy this lively fun restaurant with live entertainment. Inspired by Asian Street Food, the menu is unique and delicious. Perfect for a large group with 3 prefixed menus to choose from, each are very reasonably priced.

  • If you are up for a night out after a fun dinner, I highly recommend Mandala. Located near the marina in Cabo San Lucas, this high end club will be a great way to end your first full day in Los Cabos.

  • Please note that you must reserve a VIP table in advance and get there by 10:30pm to claim it. I am happy to make all these arrangements for you.

Day 2: Spend the Day on a Luxury Yacht

For larger groups of 20-25, I recommend renting the Neopreme, which is a show-stopping 100ft luxury yacht. You can have anywhere from four to eight hours on the water with top shelf open bar, plated lunch and hors d’oeuvres to go around the entire time. Spend the day out on the ocean, visit the famous Arch, pass by gorgeous beaches and enjoy watching the breathtaking wild life of dolphins and whales (depending the season).

Day 3: Wellness Day

Cabo is very well known for its award winning spas, and getting a treatment is a must while here. I give the group options between the best spas in Cabo and book your treatments for you as a group, so you can enjoy all the amenities of the spa together.

  • Lunch - enjoy lunch by the pool or the beach and relax,

  • Dinner - El Farralon at Waldorf Astoria

Wonderful fresh sea to table sea food with marvelous views of the ocean.

Day 4: Camel Safari & Sunset Catamaran

Private Camel Safari

As a private group you will be riding camels alongside the gorgeous beach where the desert meets the ocean. The camel safari includes open bar, buffet lunch and transportation.

Private Sunset Catamaran

After the Camel Safari enjoy a private catamaran for a short two and a half hours and watch the gorgeous sunset over the Sea of Cortez with refreshing margaritas and buffet dinner.

Day 5: Beach Club Lounging

SUR Beach House

Spend the day lounging at this posh beach club with some rose on ice, wonderful lunch and a live DJ every day. Located at the famous, swimmable Medano Beach.

Dinner - Edith’s

Owner Edith Jiménez is originally from the state of Guerrero, but she's been a leader in the emergent Los Cabos dining scene for decades. She now has many fantastic restaurants all over Los Cabos, but Edith's was the first, and remains her must-try restaurant for first-time visitors. Set half a block from Médano Beach, Edith's offers one of the most reliably enjoying and invariably satisfying dining experience in Cabo San Lucas, thanks to a menu rich in Mexican cuisine and fresh local seafood.
