Day 1: Bergen
The ‘Heart of the Fjords’, Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway, offering access to incredible nature experiences, small town charm and a metropolitan character
Begin your exploration with a leisurely stroll through the historic Bryggen district, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the colorful wooden houses, browse local shops and soak in the unique atmosphere. Just a stone’s throw away is the lively Fish Market, which has been providing the locals with freshly caught treasures from the sea since 1276. Today, it is one of Norway’s most visited outdoor markets, and also offers fresh fruit, vegetables, handicrafts and souvenirs.
Take a funicular ride up to Mount Fløy for panoramic views of the city and its surrounding fjords. At the top of the funicular in Bergen, you'll be greeted by stunning panoramic views of the city, fjords and mountains. This area offers a plethora of activities for all ages and fitness levels. Enjoy leisurely walks or challenging hikes. Rent bikes or canoes, savor delicious local cuisine or simply relax at a charming café. Kids will love the playground, obstacle course and encounters with friendly goats. Whether you seek adventure or relaxation, Mount Fløyen has something to offer everyone.
Enjoy a traditional Norwegian dinner at one of Bryggen's cozy restaurants, specializing in fresh seafood. Fresh seafood is at the core of Bergen cuisine. Among local specialties, you’ll find Bergen fish soup, fish cakes and persetorsk, a traditional steamed cod dish from Bergen.

Day 2: Voss & Flåm
Depart Bergen on the iconic "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the fjords as you journey by train or bus to the charming village of Voss.
Kayaking the Nærøyfjord: Arrive in Voss and meet your kayaking guide at Outdoor Norway. Embark on the kayaking tour through the Nærøyfjord, immersing yourself in the breathtaking scenery of towering mountains, cascading waterfalls and lush greenery. Your guide will take you to secluded spots accessible only by kayak. Keep an eye out for seals, eagles and other wildlife that call the fjord home.
After your kayaking adventure, continue with "Norway in a Nutshell, taking a comfortable and eco-friendly ferry through the Fjords to arrive in Flåm, a picturesque village nestled amid towering mountains. Take a leisurely stroll along the Aurlandsfjord, or embark on a hike to explore the surrounding waterfalls.
Savor a delicious dinner at a local restaurant featuring fresh, local ingredients. Consider trying traditional Norwegian dishes like kjøttkaker (meatballs) or pinnekjøtt (cured lamb).

Day 3: Oslo
Culture on the coast
Go for a stroll in lively neighborhoods and explore everything from innovative architecture and world-class museums to hip bars and heavenly eateries in the city The Wall Street Journal calls the "newest capital of Nordic cool". Because Oslo has so much to offer, be sure to spend at least a few days exploring different neighborhoods.
Experience the incredible arts and culture scene of Oslo. Start your day with a visit to the iconic Oslo Opera House. Climb to the rooftop for stunning city views. Afterwards, explore the vibrant neighborhood around the Opera House, with its trendy shops and cafes.
Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront towards the Aker Brygge area. Enjoy lunch at one of the many waterfront restaurants and visit the National Gallery.
Along Oslo’s waterfront is a nine-kilometer-long Harbor Promenade. This route is jam-packed with things to see and do, like swimming spots and beaches, a marina, stunning architecture, world-class art, an outdoor gym and an absolute gem of a public library, Deichman Bjørvika. And all that's just the free stuff!
Spend the afternoon with a quintessential Scandinavian activity — saunaing at KOK Oslo Sauna, a floating sauna in Oslofjord.
Day 4: History on The Hill
Start your day with a visit to the Royal Palace. Enjoy a guided tour or simply admire the impressive architecture. Afterwards, take a stroll through the beautiful Slottsparken and explore the vibrant Grünerløkka district, known for its trendy shops, cafes and street art. Visit the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art for a contemporary art experience.
Head to Vigeland Park, a must-see for any Oslo visitor. Explore the vast park filled with over 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland.
Enjoy a relaxing evening at Frognerbadet (Frogner Bath), a public bath with saunas and a rooftop pool offering panoramic city views.
Day 5: Fun on The Fjord
Hike or bike through Nordmarka. Escape the city for a morning of fresh air and stunning nature. Rent bikes or hike through the vast Nordmarka forest, just outside Oslo. This offers a chance to experience Norway's beautiful wilderness.
Explore the Viking Ship Museum, showcasing beautifully preserved Viking ships. Immerse yourself in the history and culture of Norway's Viking era.
Enjoy a dinner cruise on the Oslofjord, offering stunning views of the city skyline and the surrounding islands.
