Day trips

A great day trip from Porto is a trip to the Douro Valley, filled with rolling hills, vineyards and the Douro River. It's known for its world-class wine production, particularly its celebrated Port wine. You can visit wineries, hike through the vineyards and go on a boat cruise along the river.
