Museums:

Museo Nacional Del Prado: The Museo Del Prado is known worldwide for its amazing collection of European art and artifacts ranging all the way back to the 12th century. Each piece of artwork tells a story about Spain's rich history and will enchant every traveler.

Tours and views:

Royal Palace of Madrid: If you want to view the Palace from outside, the architecture alone will take your breath away. However, if you want to take your adventure further, consider partaking in a guided tour throughout the magnificent halls of the Grand Palace, built in 1764 for king Charles the Third.

Almudena Cathedral: Right across from the Royal Palace is an equally magnificent sight. The Almudena Cathedral took over 100 years to build, and its splendor is well worth it! After getting a chance to see the cathedral and all its splendor, make sure to rest your legs on the steps of the Cathedral and take in the sights of the palace while listening to beautiful street musicians.

Shows:

Flamenco and Dinner Show: Corral De La Moreria: You might be able to catch some incredible street performances by the Flamenco Dancers, or you can purchase a ticket to the Corral De La Moreria. They will provide you with a lively dinner and a show that you won’t soon forget.

Shopping:

Galleria Canalejas: If you get the chance, the Galleria Canalejas is a luxurious shopping mall located in the heart of Madrid. Discover an exquisite selection of accessories, fashion and delicacies. And of course, it is beautiful to walk through even if you don’t buy anything!

Gran Via: Gran Via is the main shopping street found in this fantastic city. Here you can find all your favorite brands and shops on a grand scale. Some include H&M, Adidas, New Balance, Zara, Topshop and much more!

Market of San Miguel: The indoor Market of San Miguel is a spot you can’t miss! Inside you’ll find all kinds of handmade goods and unique foods. Sample the flavorful cheeses, fruits, wines, meats and platters.

Jardin Salvador Bachiller: This five-story building is a sweet oasis amid the busy city of Madrid. Discover colorful shops and cafes on each floor of this hidden gem. Nestled on the rooftop of the Jardin Salvador is a secret Garden Cafe full of lush greenery and bright flowers.

Secret rooftop garden: Once the other floors of Jardin Salvador Bachiller have been explored, make your way up to the rooftop where you will find a secret garden and cafe! This photo-worthy spot is a rare find in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Market of San Miguel: The Market of San Miguel may be perused on a shopping spree if you want to take back dry goods as a souvenir. However, it is also a great spot to stop for lunch! With rows and rows of specialty foods and authentic cuisine, there are many options suitable for a growling stomach.

Chocolateria 1902: Spain is known for their Churros and hot chocolate. Chocolateria 1902 is run by the oldest family that makes churros in all of Spain! There's an additional perk for your travelers with food allergies. Chocolateria offers gluten-free and dairy-free options for Churros and Chocolate. Watch faces light up as they take their first bite of the amazingly rich and creamy chocolate and surprisingly fluffy churros.

Nomad Food and Bar: Located at the Vincci Soho Hotel, this versatile restaurant is a great spot for appetizers and cocktails featuring Mediterranean dishes. While waiting for your food, you can gaze around at the unique and eye-catching lights and decorations that hint to a carnival motif.

Revoltosa Prado: Revoltosa Prado has an impressive menu, providing some of the best food in the city. The Roots Bravas potatoes are a favorite among patrons. Get lucky and you might even get to see a live performance of Madrid's best musicians and dancers.

Bestial Rosi La Loca: While Revoltosa is known for their potatoes, Bestial Rosi La Loca is known for their spectacular drinks. Every square inch of this restaurant is covered in vibrant designs, from the colorful liquor bottles, to the “i-spy” decor and glowing floors, this restaurant will take your breath away!
