Day 1: Arriving in London & Soaking in the Sights

You’ve just arrived in London! After settling into your hotel, take some time to breathe in the energy of the city. Start with a stroll along the Thames to see some of the city's most famous landmarks. Walk past the iconic Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the London Eye. There’s no need to rush, just let yourself soak it all in.

For lunch, head over to What the Pitta—one of my absolute favorites. Their vegan döner kebab is an absolute must-try, packed with flavor and perfect for a quick but satisfying meal as you adjust to the city’s vibe. Afterward, continue your exploration with a wander around Covent Garden, where you can catch some live street performances or browse the quirky boutiques.

End your day with dinner at King Cook Daily in Shoreditch. This spot is a hidden gem with an incredible selection of Asian fusion dishes. From their mouth-watering tofu stir fry to flavourful curries, it’s the perfect spot to wrap up your first day in the city.

Day 2: Discovering East London’s Vegan Delights

Vegan breakfast consisting of a wrap, a sandwich, tomatoes, sprouts and avocado on white plates.

Start your morning in East London with breakfast at The Canvas Cafe, near the vibrant Brick Lane. Grab their vegan full English breakfast, complete with scrambled tofu, sausages and all the trimmings. Afterward, take a stroll down Brick Lane, where you’ll find an explosion of colorful street art, vintage shops, and markets. It’s a creative hub where the old meets the new, and you’ll love getting lost in its energy.

Spend your afternoon exploring Victoria Park and head to Fish House and indulge in their vegan fish and chips for lunch or, if it’s a Sunday, swing by the Columbia Road Flower Market and get lost in a sea of blooms then nip over to The Nelson Pub, fill your boots with their vegan Sunday roast.

As the evening rolls in, I know you’ll want to revisit What the Pitta—because once is never enough. Their plant-based döner is simply too good to pass up, and you’ll love the variety of options they offer.

Day 3: South London’s Hidden Gems & Self-Care

A bowl of curried chickpeas with parsley and lemon garnish.

Begin your day with a peaceful breakfast at The Fields Beneath in Kentish Town. Their warm atmosphere and vegan pastries will make you feel right at home. Grab a vegan croissant or a rich coffee, then take a relaxing walk around Brockwell Park in Brixton. This beautiful park has stunning views of the London skyline and is the perfect spot to unwind in the morning.

Head over to Selfridges on Oxford Street for a spot of shopping then for lunch, dive into the bold Caribbean flavors at Sweet Dee's Jerk inside their foodhall. Their delicious vegan options like jerk jackfruit and curried chickpeas will transport you to the islands with every bite. You’ll love their vibrant take on classic Caribbean dishes, all served with a side of sunshine. They are also the first-ever Black-owned Caribbean business in Selfridges history!

Afterward, indulge in a bit of pampering with a luxurious vegan manicure at Luna and Wilde, an eco-friendly, cruelty-free nail salon in Brixton. Once your hands are looking fabulous, make your way to Unity Diner in Hoxton for dinner. Founded by vegan activist Earthling Ed, this spot serves up tasty vegan comfort food like burgers, mac ‘n’ cheese and their famous fish and chips, all while supporting animal rights causes. It’s a win-win!

Day 4: Breakfast, Lunch & A Vegan Tasting Experience

Pancakes with red and blue berries on a plate.

Kick off your morning with a nourishing breakfast at Mallow in Borough Market. This stylish new spot is all about sustainability and flavor, offering dishes like chia seed pancakes or scrambled tofu with greens. After breakfast, take a peaceful stroll through Kensington Gardens or Hyde Park—two of London's most beautiful green spaces.

Once you’re ready for lunch, head to Mildreds in Soho. They’ve been a staple of London’s vegan scene for years, and their Sri Lankan curry or burgers will leave you full and happy. Now, here’s where the magic of London really shines—take a relaxing boat trip along the Thames. You can hop on one of the city’s iconic river cruises, which will glide you past famous landmarks like the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, and even down towards Greenwich. It’s a unique way to experience London from a whole new perspective, with the water gently flowing beside you.

For dinner, experience vegan fine dining at its very best at Pied à Terre in Fitzrovia. This Michelin-starred restaurant is the longest-standing independent Michelin Starred establishment in the UK, known for its modern British cuisine with classical French roots. Executive Chef Phil Kearsey curates a stunning vegan tasting menu that’s earned the title of No. 1 Vegan Tasting Experience in the UK. The elegant setting, coupled with inventive and beautifully presented dishes, makes this the perfect end to a day of exploring London’s culture and cuisine.

Day 5: Exploring North London’s Vegan Hideaways

This morning, for a cozy vegan breakfast, head over to Wave Cafe (We Are Vegan Everything) in Hackney. This charming cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere and an entirely plant-based menu with delicious options like fluffy pancakes, toasties, smoothie bowls and indulgent pastries. It’s the perfect spot to start your day with great coffee and vibrant, tasty food in a relaxed, friendly setting. From here, make your way to Camden Market for a day of exploration. Camden’s quirky vibe, alternative fashion and artisan stalls will keep you entertained for hours.

For lunch, hit up Club Mexicana for vibrant vegan Mexican street food, or go for the legendary vegan fried chicken at Temple of Seitan. Camden has so many vegan options, you’ll be spoiled for choice!

In the afternoon, take a peaceful walk up to Primrose Hill. The views from the top are some of the best in London—perfect for a serene moment to reflect on your adventures so far. For dinner, enjoy a slice of creative vegan pizza at Purezza in Camden. Their inventive toppings and delicious plant-based cheeses will leave you wanting more. It is truly my favorite spot for vegan pizza.

Day 6: West London’s Vegan Luxury & Exploring Notting Hill

The Spread Eagle in Homerton. This 100% vegan pub offers a stellar weekend brunch menu with dishes like breakfast burritos, pancakes and full English breakfasts. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a hearty and flavourful start to your day. Once you’re ready, head to The Natural History Museum in South Kensington for an immersive experience that will leave you in awe of the natural world.

For lunch, stop by Redemption Bar for a delicious, health-conscious vegan meal—try their colorful Buddha bowls or beetroot burgers. Spend your afternoon meandering through the colorful streets of Notting Hill, exploring charming independent boutiques and bookshops.

For dinner, treat yourself to an elegant evening at Gauthier Soho. Their vegan tasting menu is a luxurious experience, offering beautifully crafted dishes that will take your palate on a journey. This fine dining experience is the perfect way to indulge in the finer side of London’s vegan scene.

Day 7: Markets, River Walks & Vegan Comfort Food

Variety of fresh pastas.

On your last day, start with a relaxed breakfast at The Fields Beneath in Kentish Town. Afterward, make your way to Borough Market, one of London’s most famous food markets. Here, you’ll find plenty of vegan treats, from freshly made pasta at La Tua Pasta to decadent baked goods from Bread Ahead.

For lunch, check out Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant & Castle, where the buzzing atmosphere and diverse food stalls offer an array of vegan delights. Afterward, take a leisurely walk along the Southbank, enjoying the river views, street performers and galleries that line this cultural stretch of the Thames.

For your final dinner, dive into some serious vegan comfort food at Neat Burger, with locations across London, including near Oxford Circus. Perfect for a satisfying end to your final day in London, this plant-based burger joint is owned by fellow Grenadian vegan, F1's Lewis Hamilton and is known for its juicy, flavourful burgers and delicious sides like loaded fries and tater tots. FYI, their chck'n sandwich tastes just like the McChicken Sandwich.
