Things to do in Las Vegas

The skyline of Las Vegas featuring the Paris hotel on the Strip.

Las Vegas has a a ton of opportunities for interesting and fun-filled days. You will find the bulk of activities on the Las Vegas Strip, which is full of hotels, malls, food etc. Everything is right next to each other on the Strip, so you can explore just about anything even without a set schedule.

Be sure to check out the Bellagio fountain as you walk along the Strip. You will have the best experience at night! It is great for photo ops and a post-meal show.

If you are traveling with a group of family and/or friends, I would recommend spending a day at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. They have plenty of things to do such as the adventure-dome for those who love rollercoasters. They also have a circus and a ton of games. You can also stop by at the casino.

Another fun idea would be taking a trip away from the Strip and going on an adventurous tour of the Grand Canyon. You can find a tour that includes a pickup from your hotel in a bus that takes you to the Grand Canyon and includes rest stops, a stop at the Hoover Dam and lunch. A great opportunity for adventure is taking a trip to the Red Rock Canyon. Be sure to bring a lot of water and prepare for the sun.

Don’t miss the gondola ride on the river beneath The Venetian.

Things to eat & drink in Las Vegas

Burgers with a milkshake and onion rings on a white-cloth table.

Tacos el Gordo: Popular tacos in Las Vegas if you are looking for a good Mexican restaurant.

Peppermill: Great breakfast restaurant if you are looking for great omelettes in a cool lounge.

Mizumi Japanese Restaurant: Excellent option for any sushi lovers looking to try modern Japanese specialties.

Stripburger and chicken: What many people refer to as the best burgers in Vegas!

In the Bellagio, they also have a great ice cream shop called Cafe Gelato where you can get the best of the best! They have a ton of flavors for you to try.
