The South of France is an art lover’s paradise. Over the last century, it has played host to some of the greats, including Matisse, Vincent Van Gogh and Picasso, to name a few. Given the beautiful natural light and forgiving climate, it became a natural magnet for the Impressionists, keen to capture this spectacular landscape on canvas. They have left their footprint on this region through galleries and other cultural icons. Given the fantastic climate, excellent food and exquisite natural beauty, Provence is the perfect place for any art lover to explore this region. Whether it's strolling through the streets that inspired masterpieces or simply soaking in the Mediterranean sun, the South of France offers a truly unforgettable experience for any art lover.

La Mère Germaine in Villefranche-sur-Mer, situated along the waterfront of this picturesque coastal town. Jean Cocteau used to eat at this local institution, which has been serving fresh fish and seafood since 1938. Its seafood specialties and stunning views have made it a beloved destination.

Le Bistrot du Paradou, near Arles. This rustic Provencal bistro has attracted artists and food enthusiasts alike with its traditional cuisine and charming ambiance. It's located in the countryside, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.
