Places to eat & drink in Rockingham County, North Carolina
24 Blackbirds: Café and Market in downtown Reidsville. Open Monday-Friday for lunch. Fresh fantastic food made to order. Friendly and bright atmosphere. I recommend their arugula salad and the mama’s meatloaf sandwich, all selections are delicious!
The Celtic Fringe: An Irish Pub in the heart of downtown Reidsville offering amazing Irish/American dishes. Indoor and Outdoor seating, romantic, great place to eat with friends or family. Known for their exquisite list of libations and delicious food. I recommend the Scotch Eggs, The Shepherd’s Pie and Bourbon Pecan Pie. There are menu staples and items that change seasonally.
Mayberry: Restaurant on Scales Street in Reidsville that offers deli foods and a large wonderful list of ice creams and many seasonal ice creams. My favorite is the Pumpkin ice cream that arrives every fall. A local’s favorite place to eat, open for lunch and dinner.
Reynold’s Brewery: Craft brewery that is family-owned in Eden. Brick oven for handmade pizzas, games for the whole family including board games that can be played at your table and cornhole outside on their back deck. You will feel right at home and well taken care of with their Southern Hospitality. I recommend their meatball appetizer and the Grand Line pizza along with their Caspian White Blonde Ale.
Reid’s House: The ideal spot for a small town home cooked breakfast. Watch as the chef’s make your food, sit in one of their booths or at the counter. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff that feels like family and fair prices. Their waffles are always fluffy and delicious and I promise your coffee cup will never be empty because of the attentive servers.
