Things to do in Palm Beach

Palm Beach:

  • Walk the lake trail.

  • Visit the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum.

  • Beach: Sunset Avenue Beach Access (a smaller beach) or Brazilian Avenue Public Beach Access

  • Shopping: Walk along Worth Avenue, which has several boutiques, shops and art galleries. You can also go to the Royal Poinciana Plaza to walk around more shops.

  • Take a surf lesson.

  • Golfing: There are several golf courses to play at in the Palm Beach area.

West Palm Beach:

  • Green Market and Farmers Market (Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, October through April): Walk around the farmer’s market and get some lunch.

  • Manatee Lagoon: In the winter months, you can see manatees at this watering hole.

  • Rent a kayak or paddle board and go to Peanut Island or take the ferry to Peanut Island. Bring lunch with you and stay all day or go snorkeling (it is best to go an hour before or after high tide for clear water).

  • Phil Foster Park (under Blue Heron Bridge): An 800-foot-long man-made reef (this is a great place to go snorkeling).

  • Rent a boat and take it to Munyon Island and Peanut Island.

  • Embark on a Catamaran Cruise.

  • Visit the Norton Museum of Art.

  • Stop by the Grandview Public Market.

  • Go to Drive Shack, a golf driving range.
