Things to do in Amstersdam

Take a (self) guided canal tour on a boat: Take a leisurely canal cruise with a group or opt for a self-guided tour by renting a pedal boat or kayak to explore Amsterdam's iconic waterways. If you are not too feeling it doing it yourself, there are plenty of options on a private boat with a guide! You can admire the picturesque bridges, historic buildings, and charming houseboats that line the canals.

Museums galore: Explore Amsterdam's rich cultural heritage by visiting world-class museums such as the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Moco Museum and Anne Frank House.

Discover the Red Light District: Explore Amsterdam's famous Red Light District, known for its legalized prostitution, vibrant nightlife, and eclectic mix of bars, clubs, and adult entertainment venues. Take a guided tour to learn about the area's history and culture. Tip: Visit the Red light district museum or take a nightlife tour to bring you down to the usual watering holes in the city!

Where better to cycle than the land of bicycles: Rent a bike and explore Amsterdam like a local. The city boasts an extensive network of bike paths and bike-friendly infrastructure. Tip: plenty of bicycle stores around to rent in the centre of Amsterdam, you can even leave your luggage in lockers at some of these stores.

Vondelpark: Spend a relaxing afternoon in Vondelpark, Amsterdam's largest and most famous park. Enjoy picnicking, cycling, jogging, or simply soaking up the sun amid lush greenery, ponds, and sculptures. Tip: There are couple of cute cafes in the park where you can pick up great coffee and cakes.

Shop in De Negen Straatjes: Explore the charming streets of De Negen Straatjes (The Nine Streets), a trendy shopping district known for its boutique shops, vintage stores, art galleries, and cozy cafes. This is where you will also find authentic vintage Chanels/Hermes items (including bags!). Tip: These streets are connected to the canals, tons of insta photo opportunities on the bridges!

Artis Zoo: One of the most beautiful zoos in the region that is worth exploring if you have time! Tip: There’s a cafe and amazing restaurant nearby - Plantage.

Tales & Spirits: The city’s best kept secret!

Cecconi’s Amsterdam: Not your typical Dutch local bar, this Italian restaurant/bar is full on Soho house style and sits in a former trading house. Tall ceilings, elegant lightings and cozy vibes together with an Aperol Spritz? Sounds divine!
