Things to do in London

Girl wearing pink sweater on a towerbridge

Tower Bridge

Suspension bridge that spans over the River Thames. It has two towers connected by two walkways and is known for its stunning Victorian architectural style. You can walk across the bridge for free and feel the magic of this iconic landmark.

The British Museum

Public museum dedicated to human history, art and culture, located in the Bloomsbury area of London. Admission is free, so the lines can be long. The earlier you get there, the better!

Buckingham Palace

Recognized around the world as the home of the monarch, the focus of national celebrations and the backdrop to the regular Changing the Guard ceremony.

Big Ben

Tower clock famous for its accuracy and for its massive bell. Iconic silhouette and one of the most famous clocks around the world. Great spot to get that magical instagrammable shot!

London Eye

The world’s largest observation wheel. Take a ride on this attraction to experience London from a bird’s eye view (if you’re okay with heights).

Christmas Market at The National Gallery

Art museum in Trafalgar Square in the City of Westminster, in Central London. In the winter months, the Square hosts a lively Christmas market with mulled wine, crafts, food, and music. A truly magical experience.

Camden Town

Area famous for its numerous markets, funky culture, and thriving nightlife. Great for finding unusual gifts, antiques, and canalside eateries. This area is a personal favorite!

Covent Garden

Shopping and entertainment hub in London's West End, home to high-end lifestyle stores and the Royal Opera House. A part of town I recommend to my clients who enjoy the more luxurious things in life.

Emirates Stadium

Catch a true European football match in the home of the Arsenal Football Club. This dream came true for my husband, who is a long-time soccer fan in the States. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is a must for any sports fan!

Places to eat & drink in London

Alot of people in the Borough Market
  • Borough Market: One of the largest and oldest food markets in London. You’ll find local and international ingredients and uniquely delicious dishes. A great spot to sample many different types of cuisines.

  • Broadway Market: Victorian street market in Hackney, North London, near the gorgeous London Fields Park. The market is open on Saturdays, but there are over 70 shops, cafés, and restaurants open every day that occupy the same area.

  • The One Cafe Restaurant and Bar: Just one of the great places to stop in along your stroll through Broadway Market. This spot is filled with indoor plants and big windows, making it a nature lover’s paradise. Along with the scenery, you will find a great selection of cocktails and small bites.

  • Earls Court Tavern: Street corner local serving pints and pies, delivering a truly British experience. Great for drinks or grabbing some decadent dinner.

  • Tea and Tattle: Traditional tea room attached to a bookstore with Chinese wallpaper, leaf tea, and tasty sandwiches. Prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Afternoon tea is a must during your stay!

  • Bandol: For an elegant dinner, this restaurant showcases the flavors and style of the South of France. Delicious wines and beautiful plate selections include roasted halibut, squid ink risotto, and steak tartare.

  • Bibida: Destination for Korean BBQ and Japanese food in the heart of Notting Hill, London. This little gem offers a large menu to choose from while maintaining consistent quality. I dined here as a party of four, and we all got something different that was delicious!

  • Seven Dials Market: London's tastiest food hall that hosts 20 independent traders and two bars, in the heart of Covent Garden.
