Day 1: Arrive in Riems

2 Days in Champagne, Reims - Day 1: Arrive in Riems

Take the train from Paris to Reims, once you arrive to the train station I recommend you to walk, hotels and everything are really close.

TIP: be sure you travel with light luggage and comfort shoes.

Check-in into your hotel and go grab some lunch, nearby there are many restaurants you can try (everything closes really early so if your are going to arrive late night bring some lunch!).

Then I recommend you take a walk down to the Notre-Dame Cathedral. on Sundays you can watch a night light show that it's amazing!

Day 2: Epernay

2 Days in Champagne, Reims - Day 2: Epernay

Wake up early grab some breakfast and take a train to Epernay. It's 30 minutes away (you'll wish it was longer; enjoy the scenic landscape it has to offer).

When you arrive go to the Avenue du Champagne. It's the main street here is where all champagne houses have their wine cellars, such as Moët & Chandon or Perrier-Jouët.

Take a guided tour of the cellars to learn about the champagne-making process and enjoy a tasting session (I recommend you taking the VINTAGE MOËT TOUR ).

After your tour explore the avenue, do some tasting also in Perrier - Jouët terrace with some cheeses and enjoy your afternoon visiting the museum, walking and admiring the architecture it has to offer. Whenever your ready take your train back to Reims.

Day 3: Vineyard tour

2 Days in Champagne, Reims - Day 3: Vineyard tour

I recommend you to take the Veuve Clicquot vineyard tour. Here, you'll visit the whole region walking through the vineyards learning from the process you didn't learn in the wine cellars back in Epernay, you'll enjoy some champagne tasting right in the garden of Veuve Clicquot Manor, which has the most amazing views, it feels just like a movie. It's a half day tour I would totally recommend!

TIP: Super important if you are taking this tour, you must take a taxi / uber to the Manoir de Verzy. It's around 30 minutes away. Do not go to the location of Veuve Clicquot in Reims, which is only for wine cellar tours. Also coordinate a taxi with your guide so you can go back to Reims (there are no Ubers in the area!).

Enjoy the rest of your day getting to know the rest of Reims and get ready to travel back to Paris the next day.
