Things to do in Puerto Vallarta. Mexico

ATV tour - Journey through the Sierra Madre Mountains by ATV, taking in the beautiful views at every turn. Canopy River Park offers packages with other activities like ziplining and river tubing. Maybe we were just hungry, but the restaurant at Canopy River offers one of the best lunches we had on our trip. Don’t skip it!
Enjoy a sunset cruise - Puerto Vallarta offers some truly spectacular sunsets, so make sure you have the chance to enjoy evening views from the water one night.
Take a walking tour - Whether on your own or with a guide, explore the winding streets of downtown Puerto Vallarta. Stroll the beachfront Malecon full of shops, restaurants and bars. No trip downtown would be complete without grabbing some local street tacos!
Relax at your resort - A Mexico beach vacation calls for plenty of time spent beach or poolside, so make sure to take in the amenities offered at your resort. Bonus points for a day spent lounging in your personal cabana, or a private oceanfront dinner experience.
Places to eat & drink in Puerto Vallarta. Mexico

La Cappella - If you take nothing else from this trip guide, make sure you have at least one dinner at La Cappella. I say at least one, because if you’re like me, you’ll have another reservation scheduled to come back a few days later before you even leave. Take in the breathtaking city views while the sun sets over the ocean and romantic live music compliments an outstanding dinner experience.
Pancho’s Tacos - When I was in Puerto Vallarta, we asked our taxi driver to take us to his favorite taco spot in town, and it did not disappoint. Check out Pancho’s Tacos for authentic, local street tacos while you’re in between shops.
For those looking to wander off their resort further, check out other local hot spots like La Palapa, Oscar’s and The Iguana.
Lastly, from my personal experience, the all-inclusive culinary experience at the Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta was excellent and will be sure to meet a foodie’s standards!
