Day 1: Hiking & camping at Mount Rinjani

Your adventure begins as you set foot on Mount Rinjani, one of Indonesia's most iconic volcanoes. Over the next three days, you’ll experience breathtaking landscapes, dramatic views and the thrill of summiting this majestic peak. Start your trek throughout the day as you gradually make your way to Sembalun Crater Rim. Camp at Sembalun Crater Rim.

Day 2: Summit sunrise at the peak of Mount Rinjani

Wake up for an early start. A light breakfast fuels you for your summit attempt, which takes about 3.5 hours. The trek is challenging, but the reward is unforgettable: a breathtaking sunrise at the top of Mount Rinjani (3,726 meters). From the summit, witness panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, the Segara Anak Lake and the volcanic crater.

Day 3: Descent to Senaru Village

After an early breakfast, take in the stunning views at the Senaru Crater Rim before beginning your descent. This final leg of the trek takes about 5–6 hours and will lead you through lush forests, waterfalls and vibrant landscapes.

Once you reach Senaru Village, your trek concludes. You’ll be transferred back to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on your amazing experience.

Day 4: Gili Islands – Island-hopping tour

After conquering Mount Rinjani, it’s time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Gili Islands. Known for their clear waters, vibrant marine life and laid-back vibe, the Gili Islands offer the perfect retreat after a strenuous trek.

Hop on a boat from Lombok to the Gili Islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. The islands are famous for their white-sand beaches and snorkeling opportunities. Enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, where you can swim with sea turtles, vibrant coral reefs and tropical fish. You can also unwind on the beach with a fresh coconut or a delicious seafood lunch.

Day 5: Travel to Bali – Explore Ubud’s Monkey Forest

After your island adventure, it’s time to head to Bali, an island renowned for its vibrant culture, stunning beaches and spiritual significance.

Catch a flight or boat from Lombok to Bali, and head to Ubud, Bali's cultural hub.

Upon arrival, visit the Ubud Monkey Forest, an enchanting forest sanctuary that is home to hundreds of mischievous long-tailed macaques. The forest also features ancient temple ruins and lush greenery, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful afternoon walk.

Day 6: Bali rice terraces and temples

Bali is known for its lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Today is dedicated to discovering some of the island’s most iconic cultural and natural wonders.

Jatiluwih Rice Terrace

Start your day with a visit to the stunning Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its expansive, perfectly manicured terraces that stretch as far as the eye can see. Take a walk through the terraces and immerse yourself in Bali’s rural beauty.

Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple

Next, visit Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple, one of Bali’s most sacred temples. It’s set within a tranquil jungle, and features ancient rock-cut shrines surrounded by peaceful gardens and pools.

Tirta Empul Temple

Head to Tirta Empul Temple, famous for its holy spring water. Locals come here to purify themselves in the sacred waters, and you can also take part in the purification ritual or simply enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 7: Sunrise at Mt. Batur and hot springs

Today is a combination of hiking and relaxation. Begin your day with a challenging yet rewarding sunrise trek and then unwind in the hot springs.

Sunrise at Mt. Batur

Wake up before dawn and embark on the 2-hour trek to the summit of Mount Batur, an active volcano. The sunrise views are spectacular, with the soft morning light illuminating the surrounding landscapes and Lake Batur below.

Hot springs

After your trek, head to Toya Devasya Hot Springs, located near the lake, to relax in the warm mineral waters. The hot springs offer a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding volcanoes, making it the perfect spot to soothe your muscles after your trek.

Balinese Spa

End your day with a traditional Balinese spa experience. Enjoy a rejuvenating massage and body treatments at one of Ubud's famous spas like The Yoga Barn or Karsa Spa.

Day 8: Chasing waterfalls and Uluwatu Temple

Your final day in Bali will take you to some of the island’s most famous waterfalls and iconic temple views.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Start the day with a visit to Kanto Lampo Waterfall, a hidden gem known for its tiered flow of water cascading down smooth rocks. Take a refreshing dip or simply enjoy the peaceful setting.

Tegenungan Waterfall

Next, head to Tegenungan Waterfall, one of Bali’s most famous falls. You can swim, take photos or simply relax by the water’s edge, surrounded by lush jungle.

Uluwatu Temple & Uluwatu Beach

In the afternoon, visit Uluwatu Temple, a stunning sea temple perched on a cliff 70 meters above the Indian Ocean. The views are dramatic and mesmerizing. Stick around for the Kecak Fire Dance, a traditional Balinese performance set against the backdrop of a sunset over the ocean.

Afterward, take some time to relax on Uluwatu Beach, a beautiful spot for surfing or simply unwinding in the golden hour.
