You know that one friend on vacation that's got the spreadsheets, lists and maps - that's ME! Organization is my middle name, because my worst fear is getting to a new destination and realizing that I didn't book the best hotel, or I forgot to make a reservation for the hottest restaurant in town. My travel style is a nice balance between adventure and luxury. I'm traveling to off-the-beaten-path destinations, but I'm doing it in style (those backpacking days are o-v-e-r). If I have to rough it, I can, sometimes that's all part of the fun! But you best be sure I've got us booked in a luxury resort at the first chance. I like to get behind the wheel and roadtrip; it's a great way to see the sights you might miss on a tourbus. I enjoy a hike, because you'll discover places you'll never see in your car. All trips revolve around food, whether it's a local street-food tour, or fine dining... and I've NEVER said no to a happy hour.
