This is the best way to book a trip!
I typically get kind of overwhelmed when going on vacation — not because I don’t like traveling but because of all the planning that’s involved. Finding flights, booking hotels, renting cars…I find that to be a bit of a drag.
Thankfully, Alexa made this easy for me! She didn’t just pick whatever and send me on my way. Instead she asked me about my preferences and budget, and from there, she found the perfect stuff for me.
For my trip, I went to Washington D.C. to see family, check out the monuments, and see the museums. That was great, but one of my favorite parts was the hotel Alexa booked for me. I wanted something that has character, kind of on the more fancy and artsy side, but also not as expensive as the Ritz-Carlton. I definitely didn’t want something as generic as a Holiday Inn (nothing wrong with Holiday Inn, just not what I was looking for).
So Alexa found me The Riggs. That place was a work of art! It used to be a bank, and they really play off of that motif throughout the whole hotel. The amenities were great! Gotta love the mini bar in the room that looked like a bank safe! The hotel really reminded me of the Continental from the “John Wick” movies. For as classy as it was, it was also surprisingly within my budget. Also, the view from my room was nice. I was near the top, and I had a view of the National Portrait Gallery. Whenever I return to D.C., I plan on staying at The Riggs again!
One of the most important things that I needed on the trip was easy, fast, and convenient transportation. Alexa found me a nice car rental that was a good mix of luxury and practicality (which, for me, means Apple Car Play to connect my iPhone for navigation and music). It was a Nissan Altima from Sixt. It took me back and forth from Baltimore to D.C. so many times during my trip, and it never failed me.
Alexa also sent me a list of places I could visit in D.C. That was helpful, since there’s so much stuff there! It can get a little overwhelming figuring out where to go to first, so the list she sent me was quite useful.
I also appreciated that Alexa reminded me to do things, like checking in for flights on time and securing the car rental.
Overall, I had a wonderful trip! I’ll be asking Alexa for help on my next one!

Alexa has been incredible with us — she planned us the most fun itinerary and helped prepare us well for Japan. She encouraged us to book experiences (restaurants and activities) ahead of time to be sure we secure our spot, and also was readily available via text/phone if we had any questions. I felt so prepared to have her — she was like the ChatGPT (lol) of our trip and truly helped us tremendously. Not sure how I could have done it without her help!

My spouse and I took a trip to Cancun for my birthday and let me tell you. We had THEE BEST TIME. Alexa made planning our trip so easy and stress free. She was so patient with us through all our changes and back and forths. She listened to all of our needs and made our dream vacation come to life. We will be using Alexa’s expertise again when booking another trip.
