Jackie Verses

Jackie was a dream to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable, provided amazing curated options based on what we discussed, and was patient while I asked tons of questions! She went above and beyond, having a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we got to the room on my husband's birthday (which we credit to us getting a room upgrade!). It's so refreshing to work with someone who is so passionate, and I cannot wait to book my next trip with her!

Jackie is definitely our new go to travel advisor. She is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and responds very quickly. She had many options and recommendations for our trip and is very proactive. Jackie went above and beyond to make sure it was special and we felt very taken care of.

Jackie was exceptional and incredibly helpful from the very beginning planning stage of our trip through the return. When I initially reached out to her, all I knew was that we wanted to do our honeymoon in South Africa and have some combination of Cape Town, wine country and safari. She explored different options and sent us at least three different proposals, all at different price points within our desired budget. Once we made a decision, she helped every step of the way and made the entire experience so stress free. She even caught a potential issue with our flight home (that I booked myself so not an issue caused by her) in enough time where we were able to make changes, saving us from a huge headache at the airport and possibly missing our international flight home!

Where Jackie really went above and beyond was about a week before the trip when I called her in hysterics because I had just found out I was unexpectedly pregnant. Since both safari’s we were supposed to go on recommend malaria medication, and I didn’t feel comfortable taking malaria medication so early in my pregnancy, I was certain we would have to cancel the trip and I was devastated. Jackie remained calm and talked me off a ledge and asked me to give her some time to explore what options we had and reassured me that it would all work out. She did just that and came back to us with a few different options. &Beyond was able to accommodate us and cancel our reservation at Kruger and extend our reservation at Phinda (a lower risk malaria area) and even gave us the option to change lodges within the Phinda reserve so we still got two different safari experiences. All of these changes took place literally 2 days before we were scheduled to leave and Jackie never made me feel stressed or pressured and was willing to do whatever it took to made sure we still had an amazing honeymoon experience.

It truly was the trip of a lifetime and even with the changes to our itinerary, I could not have imagined a better honeymoon experience and a huge part of that is the role Jackie played. I cannot recommend her enough and we will use her services for all of our trips in the future. Fora is lucky to have her!
