Awilda Rivera was an amazing resource who helped me plan a wonderful three-week vacation in England. I appreciated her professional approach and methods from her first interaction, to her recommendations and summaries of same and finally to the booking confirmation documentation she created for me pre-departure. She listened carefully the first time we met and learned my preferences through a logical, thorough and efficient in-take process. After our first meeting she quickly reconfirmed in writing my high-level plan and then proceeded to source and send me options for hotels, travel options between cities and excursions at my destinations. Prior to finding Awilda I was doing all the trip planning myself. I had already determined my departure and return date to/from London and had reserved a one-week guided hiking trip in the Cotswolds’, but I did not know exactly where I would go the rest of the time I was in England. In parallel I was in the process of trying to sell my house. Awilda took all the research work off my hands and sent me 3 to 4 hotel options for each city I thought I wanted to visit. Planning the trip changed from hours searching and reviewing options on-line without final decisions, to a fun diversion from selling my house. Receiving an email from Awilda meant I could spend less time comparing hotels and more time reading, researching and imagining what I wanted to do in each place I traveled to. During the trip I decided to make a change on the timing of picking up a rental car and she took care of the change quickly and efficiently. Her communication was timely and clear in all instances. One hotel in the Yorkshire Dales had an issue with my credit card and Awilda persistently followed-up to find me so that the issue could be resolved. She then contacted the hotel and worked with them until the deposit was successfully processed. I didn’t have to worry about a thing! She understood my concern about enjoying traveling alone, but also wanting to meet people. She factored that into the excursions she found for me in Bath and the Lake District All of her hotel recommendations and other suggestions were useful and helped me to have the trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend Awilda and hope to use her again soon.
