The first part of my travel planning is to find an airline serving my destination and how I can utilize my points, miles and status to get better seating with comfortable leg room or an upgrade to business class. Next is finding a place to stay. I love staying in nice hotels. They don't have to be luxury, but they must be better than a budget hotel. Once that is all set, I get into the fun part of planning what to do each day. For me, it doesn't have to be precise to the second, but a general overview of what sights or attractions we'll see and where we'll eat that day. I make sure I capture the memories of my trips by taking lots of pictures.
