My Story

I come from a working-class upbringing in San Francisco, but have always longed for the finer things to be experienced in cultures from around the world. I have a background in Radio, a love for old taverns and pubs, like McSorley’s Old Ale House in NYC, Gino & Carlo in North Beach and The Brazen Head in Dublin. From Amsterdam to Malta, from Palermo to Nagano, from Montmartre to Monterey and back to my home town, I love finding the local hangouts, the surliest (in a good way) bartenders, the tastiest street food, the lasting memories.

My Travel Style

I’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled to many parts of the world. One of my passions is planning out detailed itineraries, starting with bucket-list destinations. I then expand from there with local restaurant and bar ideas, excursion possibilities and the ins-and-outs of transportation. I love train travel, especially in Europe!
