My Travel Style
As a third-culture kid, my DNA is infused with a love for travel. From summers with my Indian family in the UK to study abroad experiences in Spain and South Africa, travel has been a constant in my life. Starting my career in the global nonprofit sector only fueled my wanderlust. Along the way, I've mastered the art of solo travel as a woman and embraced immersing myself in local cultures across over 30 countries. Planning my next adventure is a cherished form of self-care for me, much to the amusement of my friends. With a passion for epicurean delights and a background as a certified wine expert, I've uncovered breathtaking landscapes with equally delightful culinary offerings. My ideal journey strikes a balance between immersing myself in culture, indulging in delicious food and wine and enjoying leisurely moments.

Avani helped plan my 40th birthday trip to Mexico and it was a dream trip come true thanks to her! She did a TON of research to help us decide on the location and resort that fit our preferences (activities, budget, etc) and we finally decided on the Rosewood Mayakoba. This resort is GORGEOUS! And upon entering our room, Avani had arranged for a thoughtful Welcome gift and then even surprised us with a room upgrade! She’s so knowledgeable of local areas and tours, and can really give you an insider perspective to take the guess work out of traveling somewhere new. Plus, she’s one of the sweetest and smartest people you’ll ever meet! If you’re looking to travel, I couldn’t recommend Avani more.

Avani was an absolute joy to work with! She is thoroughly communicative, responsive, caring, and detailed. She goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience, even providing us local recommendations for food and activities, and sending a personalized welcome. She helped me organize a team retreat for my business, and everyone on the team was clamoring to work with her on their own vacations in the future. I’d highly recommend Avani as a travel advisor and encourage others to use her services to put together truly memorable experiences.
